I kept hearing that about Tito landing a huge punch.

However if you followed any of B-hops fights leading up to that then you knew B-hop hardly gets flush shots landed on him.

The only reason I think it may happen this time is because the guy is almost 50 years old.

You're turning Kovalev into Sweet P or Ray Leonard.

Neither guy moves that great in Kovalev or Prime Pavlik, but both were very powerful and very good at what they did.

Pavlik was more proven, which is a fact.
you using an alt to argue your bullshlt theory. Kovalev would destroy pavlik.

To be fair....this is why he originally brought up Kelly Pavlik.

I agree that you can compare this to the Pavlik win though due to the fact most won't be as surprised if he wins against Kovalev.

im gonna go see about some t*ts....
I'm not trying to save anything. You just tried to tell me what my original argument was and you were wrong. I just proved/showed you how you were wrong. You also said that Pavlik was the more proven fighter, which he is and adds on to my original argument of Pavlik being the better victory than Kovalev.

The only thing we disagreed on was who's more athletic. You think it's Kovalev and I think it's about even.

Either way, it's not that serious to be getting out bent out of shape over. Relax bruh.

Tito was 13 years ago. Hopkins has been getting hit flush a lot more these days. Not a ton, but noticeably more.

Hopkins was annoyed because Kellerman said if he beat Kovalev it could be his greatest accomplishment.

I didn't think it was a big deal, but if you're going to quote somebody, quote them correctly without an agenda.

No, you're right, he was certainly annoyed with the notion that Kovalev would be his biggest accomplishment. Or at least that's what he perceived Kellerman to be suggesting. I don't think that's what Kellerman meant though-- I think Kellerman was meaning more how at FIFTY how huge of an accomplishment it would be.

But Bernard also emphasized the word if as well -- when Max said "if you beat Kovalev". Like it was disrespectful to use the word if.

And there's no agenda, homey. He was just butthurt all around. He was pretty damn sensitive and defensive for a boxer with a career as storied as his. Motherf**ker has been boxing for 85 years. One would think his skin would be thicker by now.

yeah, max is an awful interviewer. he makes a long-winded, inarticulate statement, then suddenly ends on a question that is often a non-sequitur. i appreciate his enthusiasm for the sport but he gets way too involved.
