Then you said Jennings throw quite good combos and work the body well. You didn't say he did this better than Fury, which also would have been ridiculous.Comment

Oh yeah?
Who has the second best jab then? It's Fury, isn't?
Jennings throws better combos and works the body better than Fury.
Why?
Because his combos are effective, and so is his body work.
He doesn't do those things to show that he's better and slickier than he actually is, which is what Tyson does.
He does them to win fights.
Fury's combos are somehow effective though, that right uppercut is a thing of beauty.
Not powerful enough though, he couldn't knock out with it a 6'9 china chinned slow bum.
And Lord almighty, he most certainly has tried.Comment

Oh yeah? When has Jennings stopped or dropped an opponent to the body? Even hurt them? Fury has several stoppage wins coming from body shots - He also set up the KO over Cunningham with a wicked right uppercut to the body.
Jennings' bodywork look sloppy and inconclusive, not much meat on it. Chisora for instance, also absolutely craps all over Jennings' body work too.
Jennings throw good combos though. I've seen him throw a left-right to the body and come up with an uppercut. Nice move. But still not as good as Fury's I'd say.
Go look at Fury's southpaw left hook to the body in the Chisora fight. Also quicker, harder and just better than anything Jennings has in his entire locker, let alone the body shot department.
Oh, referencing a Fury uppercut to his face as a 20 year old absolute novice? How original.
Shall I reference a 10 year long champion doing the same thing at the peak of his powers?
boring.Last edited by LacedUp; 09-21-2015, 06:10 AM.Comment

Not necessarily, but his jab is still better than Pulev's. Joshua's is infinitely better than Pulev's too. So is Wilder's.

Both were near flawless performances by Tyson.
I think Fury's key to victory is to do something no opponent of Wlad's has ever done before - outscore Wlad at long range and force him to either attack and fight offensively close up, or lose his titles on points.Comment

For a man with the longest reach in boxing to be able to throw an uppercut with perfect form, and tight enough to hit himself in the face, is actually very impressive!Comment

What keys to victory would Wlad see in Fury's fights with Johnson and Hammer?

For the Hammer fight, Fury showed signs of insecurities when going backwards that could have harsh consequences against Klitschko.
But I agree this will be a very tough one for Klitschko.
My mind is constantly changing about this fight, I had Klitschko last week and now I have Fury as a 60-40 favourite again.Comment
