cmon man..you lara fans have got to get over it already..and whoever bias posters on her that scored the fight 117-111 or 116-112 either way should be banned...this really was a close fight that could have gone either way...i scored it a draw... all the hate should be directed towards lara and the judge levi martinez for that corrupt.....had it been scored 115-113 across the board for canelo i think there would still be alot of crying because the pride of sum posters would not allow them to accept defeat..MOVE ON NOW,ITS OVER!

I can tell you Lara and his team have a lot more motivation here than simple "justice." They want another big payday with the Mexican cash cow.

You seem to be under the common delusion that your view is the only way something can be interpreted. I told you, I scored the fight for Lara, but I'm not so naive, close-minded or arrogant as to think my judgement is perfect, or better than everyone else's. There are men here, whose opinion I respect, that think Canelo won by the same margin I thought Lara won. I understand that people see things a little differently. There were close rounds in that fight, and part of Lara's failure was leaving too much doubt.

What sucks is that Lara was quite capable of winning this fight very clearly. He might've won if he was just a little more active, if he had thrown some more punches. But Lara fought like he was counting: "There's one, two for me, and one for him." You can't win big, close fights like that, man. This is pro boxing; and Lara is so thick that he hasn't learned that yet, despite being robbed and drawing on a couple of occasions. There's an old saying, "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me." Lara's a fool.
So right with this post, he fought like an Amateur, he did not seize it like Rigo did, he fought to stay ahead not to win without a doubt. He ran, he did not make Canelo miss and make him pay, hw fought like Andre Dirrell against Carl Froch, and to make matters worst it looked like he was running from the body shots, he looked like a good amateur fighter, he needs to understand the pro game a little more - there is $ involved now, not medals - to beat a $ bringer you have to BEAT them, not beat them, the fight could have gone either way, the score of 117 - 111 was a disgrace, but Ronnie sheilds knows better , if Lara felt like he was doing so much, then why didn't he make Canelo miss and put them hands on him ? I think he honestly let his opportunity slip in this fight, he will have another shot, ahyt he is still the WBA interim champ.

I was at Rigo-Donaire. I wasn't expecting Guille to stand in the pocket and trade with Nonito the way he did. I almost wanted to cover my eyes. lol But "El Chacal" put on an exhibition against a top fighter. He deserved to win many times over. Lara...not so much. Yeah, I think he won, but I'm not going to my grave with it. And against the third biggest PPV draw? You better bring it, kid. I appreciated Lara's performance, but it obviously wasn't enough. Don't cry over it now, knowing how it can be in professional boxing. These guys weren't born yesterday, but they're acting like it.

But what is he going to do with that shot? That's the question. This is the 4th controversial fight Lara has been involved in but he just screams robbery, his team gasses him up and when he gets another chance, he changes nothing. It's like he's saying "This is how I fight. I am the best boxer in the world. And the judges and the fans will eventually accept me for who I am." How many controversial decisions will it take for him to let those hands go!!!??

I am so angry about this because LARA IS SO MOTHER ****ING SKILLED AND TALENTED. The footwork/foot speed, the accuracy, the power, the timing, he has one of the sweetest 1,2's in the game. I'm tired of seeing such an incredible talent get controversial decisions with these average, flat footed B/C fighters, man. He should of completely outclassed Vanes and Angulo.

One day, he is going to be in the ring with some C- fighter/journeyman, get in there, throw 15 punches per round and end up with another loss or a draw to a guy that has no business in the ring with him.

I agree Lara's a fool. I agree Lara was able to do it better, but else I agree that he was better than Canelo analyzing round by round and that's what his manager is saying. Also the point of this article is the judgment of Levi Martinez completely out of mind. They are not arguing the other judgment who represent a close win for Canelo and that's what I agree with the manager. They should continue saying this guy is very suspect.
Also, for me is not an issue that Lara is looking for another big payday because that's the essence why he is fighting, for money. As long as his argument is true the others motivations can be present and don't bother me. At the end, if Lara connected more and more effective than Canelo, why Canelo deserve the winning?, just because Lara is able to win better?, because we should accept Canelo should be protected?. I agree with the manager that just being slightly better than his opponent he should win and at least the cards should not present a wide advantage of Canelo because was not
