But what is he going to do with that shot? That's the question. This is the 4th controversial fight Lara has been involved in but he just screams robbery, his team gasses him up and when he gets another chance, he changes nothing. It's like he's saying "This is how I fight. I am the best boxer in the world. And the judges and the fans will eventually accept me for who I am." How many controversial decisions will it take for him to let those hands go!!!??
I am so angry about this because LARA IS SO MOTHER ****ING SKILLED AND TALENTED. The footwork/foot speed, the accuracy, the power, the timing, he has one of the sweetest 1,2's in the game. I'm tired of seeing such an incredible talent get controversial decisions with these average, flat footed B/C fighters, man. He should of completely outclassed Vanes and Angulo.
One day, he is going to be in the ring with some C- fighter/journeyman, get in there, throw 15 punches per round and end up with another loss or a draw to a guy that has no business in the ring with him.
Lara is fantastic in some areas but limited in others. In comparison to Rigo and Gamboa, he's the least physically gifted (relatively speaking). Also, on the inside/mid range, he has difficulty transitioning from offense to defense quickly and efficiently.

This is Lara's main problem no inside game!! Your 100% right

Definitely. They all have their own unique styles. I would say Lara is the pure boxer/outfighter. He likes to control distance, use his feet and selectively pick his shots.
I agree Lara's a fool. I agree Lara was able to do it better, but else I agree that he was better than Canelo analyzing round by round and that's what his manager is saying. Also the point of this article is the judgment of Levi Martinez completely out of mind. They are not arguing the other judgment who represent a close win for Canelo and that's what I agree with the manager. They should continue saying this guy is very suspect.
Also, for me is not an issue that Lara is looking for another big payday because that's the essence why he is fighting, for money. As long as his argument is true the others motivations can be present and don't bother me. At the end, if Lara connected more and more effective than Canelo, why Canelo deserve the winning?, just because Lara is able to win better?, because we should accept Canelo should be protected?. I agree with the manager that just being slightly better than his opponent he should win and at least the cards should not present a wide advantage of Canelo because was not
What was your score? Because if you had Lara winning by a narrow margin, then it's conceivable that Canelo could be seen as the winner. So then the question becomes, why should Lara get the benefit of the doubt and not Alvarez? The bottom line is, if anyone's going to get the benefit of the doubt, it's going to be the big guy. That's life.
His scorecard was bogus but he's reaching with the Top Rank comment. The NSAC appears to have taken action so just leave it at that and let them do their job.
Team Lara needs to move on. Nobody gained anything from that fight, nobody lost anything from that fight and nobody gains anything from a rematch. He got his $1 million, he has his title, opinions are split; and nobody is interested in a rematch.
There are plenty of other strong champions out there from 154-160 Lara can go after to build his legacy.
I think you are wrong when you say "...nobody lost anything from that fight and nobody gains anything from a rematch." Lara had to talk his way into his biggest payday. He had to build up the ppv by saying he was going to beat Canelo and take him to Cuban school. He failed to deliver. His name and style don't make big money fights. Had he got the decision he would have gotten another big paycheck with a rematch. He would have also been able to say he deserves Mayweather fight. The loss to his record allows the matchmakers and promoters to tell Lara he has to wait in line for another chance at a big money fight. So Lara (and by extension his manager) loses big time, unless team lara can talk their way into a rematch by saying the fight was a robbery.

Rigo seems to be a combination of both Gamboa and Lara (plus other things of course lol). He can be disciplined on the outside like Lara, but he also has comparable speed, power, and athleticism to Gamboa.

Canelo did, he has a legit* W over Lara on his record and is now clearly considered the best fighter at 154**
* I say legit because it was a close fight unlike say Bradley-Pacquiao
** assuming FMJ doesn't defend there within the year
