It was a close fight, if you guys can't realize that, you're delusional. That one socrecard was bogus, but we have in the same breath people on here saying Lara won 9-3 or 8-4....those are just as ridiculous as Canelo winning by that margin.

Again compatriot, I disagree with you. Lara did everything right. He had a plan. He don't need to fight like a Mexican to win. This is not his style. He is defensive. Why he need to double Canelo in points for win?. He scored more points for more rounds. Canelo for most of the fight was punching the air. We should look for justice and stop justifying the injustice. For me is clear he has to say the truth because if not more injustices like this will come for our comrades. Remember, Lara, Rigo are just the top of the iceberg. There are so many others will be coming and need a justice system for the future

People laughing and making fun of the result but the evidence and point raised here is valid. Canelo in my opinion didn't beat Trout or Lara, but it is what it is. If you have popularity under your belt, the fight must be a white washed or come to a stoppage for the other guy to win.

I don't know names, but I've seen at least a few Lara fans here saying Lara won 117-111 or 116-112.....that's just as ridiculous as saying Canelo won by that margin.

Lara fought well in the first few rounds, completely faded mid fight and didn't throw enough meaningful punches to do anything, did good in the 10th and 11th, then completely gave away the 12th.

And his team have the nerve to say conspiracy and that he did as good as Mayweather did against Canelo????

I like Lara but I'm keeping it 100.....I felt Canelo won a close fight. And that's what happened. But Lara is making me not a fan right now.

Cu****uy's assessment is solid. It's sad but true. Boxing is saturated with ****** decisions. This one doesn't stink as bad as others, in fact the only thing that made this a legitimate problem was Levi Martinez's scorecard. That's it. imho Lara should have won but a nasty scorecard reared its head and took over the spirit of a great event.

For all we know, he could have been judging in good faith but was on meds or something. idk. Glad to read there will be an inquiry.

It should have been a draw, simple as that. I don't see how people can complain about Lara's performance and not Canelo's. Neither fighter did enough to win the match. It was even. They did what they had to do and neither man truly got the best of the other.

Also, it should be obvious by now that there is something shady going on. This is the third Canelo fight that's had weird scoring.

Of course they want a rematch, but they aren't getting one because it was a dud of a fight.

With Maidana vs Mayweather, it was extremely entertaining and the public wants that fight badly.

Let's be honest; the Mayweather-Maidana rematch is happening all because of the money. I don't think that many people want it and I've seen some that are against it because Floyd doesn't have that many fights left. Plus, that fight had a clear winner, unlike Lara-Canelo. If there's any reason Lara isn't getting a rematch is because Canelo now has an official win over a still-risky Lara to keep himself on top.

Okay dude... First of all Pac-Bradley 1 was a Top Rank fight and undoubtedly one of the top 5 biggest robberies OF ALL TIME! So don't say that Martinez goes by the book on a TR card when it that's a bunch of crap! Sure his card was off pretty bad, but there are a lot of worse robberies than that which have been done and locked away already. Now if he woulda scored it like 120-108 that would have been suspect for some investigation right there. Sure you got screwed against PW, those judges got what they deserved in the end though but now Team Lara is just getting ****** and he's gonna lose a lot of fans if he ain't careful. I've always liked and supported Lara but I frickin' hate whiners PERIOD!... If you lose then take your loss like a man, PW was cause to create an uproar, not your fight against Nelo.... Suck it up Lara and put your team in check...

Did you read my post? I said Rios-Abril was a real robbery. That was disgusting. I still feel bad for Richar over that one. Canelo-Lara was nowhere near that wide. It was a close fight. I thought Lara won 115-113, but I can see why someone would score it for Canelo. It's not an exact science. Lara knew he had to fight more actively. If he didn't, then he was ******. He fucked up. Now he wants a second chance? Ha ha ha...okay, let's wake up there, Landy. You're going in there against the third most popular boxer in the world and you expect to get the benefit of the doubt in close rounds? Please. That's just foolish.

Robberies and bad decisions have been a part of this sport since the beginning. It's a great, big shit sandwich and everyone has had to take a bite, not just Cubans. In fact, Cubans have been the beneficiaries of robberies themselves. Ever see Casamayor-Santa Cruz? Lara needs to grow up and get over it. He's not the first nor the last to suffer a bad decision (if you happen to think he won). Lara got paid well and he wants another big payday. I understand that. But he's gonna have to get back in line and earn it by fighting in a way that sells. The guy's a boring fighter, man. He's fortunate Alvarez gave him a shot in the first place.
