Plus I don't think he's ever been knocked down for what it's worth. Lara has. Not that it means much, just sayin'
Geale sucks. He's just an average boxer. He lost to Darren Barker ffs. Why would he be in the top 5 at MW? He lost to a guy with the hips of an 80 year old.

Can you name your top 5 MWs?

Even if Geale was in the top 5 at middleweight, it doesn't mean he's good. Middleweight is a pretty weak division now that Sergio is done.

Quillin's management has pretty much rendered him a ghost in the division. Dude is kinda right back where he was 7 years ago but at least he has some money now.

Okay so Geale is top 5 fighter in the division. You can't be top 5 in the division without being SOMEWHAT of a good fighter. He beat Sturm.

I'm sorry but Cotto is never going to challenge Mayweather again. That ship has sailed. Under Floyd's current contract with Showtime, there's just not enough money to satisfy both parties; Unless Miguel is willing to take a substantial pay cut for his minimum guarantee.

Currently, Showtime owes Floyd more than a $100 Mil and he's not going to receive a single penny more or less of that, in order to make that fight happen. Moreover, outside of a co-promotion, GBP wouldn't be willing to commit to that bout either because it would be too much of a risky venture. However, they would be willing to offer him a Canelo fight though.

I don't think he's top 5 in anything. Somewhat skilled? Ok sure....little different from being a "fantastic opponent". It's a showcase fight for Golovkin.

I saw a picture of Cotto and Golovkin side by side not too long ago and the size difference was ridiculous. I can't find it anymore. If someone could post it that would be nice.

I'm optimistic for the latter. Both guys are on HBO. HBO loves Golovkin.... It's hard to see HBO not throwing down big money to make that fight happen.

We've already lost Adonis-Kovalev unification. We need Cotto-Golovkin!
As much as HBO loves GGG they are not going to put him in with their cash cow in Cotto, basically HBO are hypocrites. They would line Canelo up for Cotto, our only hope is Canelo fighting GGG after that because I don't see Cotto fighting him under HBO.

Golovkin got straight hosed by HBO, I don't understand how more people don't talk about that with how popular Golovkin is.
