I'm more talking about the people on this site criticizing it and saying Geale is garbage and GGG should walk through him. If GGG walks through Geale it just means he's a damn good fighter and a force to be reckoned with. Geale is already a proven top dog in this division. He went on the road and beat Sturm in Germany.

Gaele is an alright opponent and a good first step in cleaning up the riff-raff but he needs a few guys like that. Hopefully for his sake a couple knock each other off to both shorten up the task and so some of those guys have slightly better profiles when he takes them down.

Long process for a 32 year old to undertake especially when all he needed to do was beat 1 guy.
Agreed. His focus should be cleaning out the division and that means beating Geale, Soliman, Quillin, Murray and if Cotto plans on staying...him too. That should keep him busy for 2-2 1/2 years.

Golovkin is a hypejob and isn't that good, yet there isn't a person in the MW division he'd get credit for beating. People wouldn't even give him credit if he fought Martinez

Yep that would be the run he would need to go on with slight variation based on some guys rising and falling, although I think Canelo would be in there I would probably replace Cotto with him.

I think that has more to do with circumstances. If Pavlik, Taylor and Hops were in that division and GGG stood up to them, he'd be a pound for pounder...like they were.

if miguel fights GloveKing, every single one of these butt plugs that bashes him should shut the **** up for the rest of time.

If Cotto fights Golovkin, I don't think any reasonable human being for the rest of boxing and human history can not give Cotto the respect he would deserve

Exactly. If I was Cotto's team I would avoid GGG. As a fan, I wouldn't even want to see that match up. It would be like the first cotto-margarito fight except no plaster in GGG wraps. Cotto would get off great work and move but as soon as GGG lands (a real middleweight), cotto will be on his knees or back.

Cotto has nothing to prove, fight canelo or even quillen and/or vacate. No need in getting massacred by a real middleweight for legacy. Get your paydays and get out without further damage. That one margarito fight was so brutal to watch. I can't imagine the damage that was done physically.
