If Cotto is as good as you think he is let him fight GGG. How are Cottos chances there? Like 100% to get knocked the f.. out?
Yeah, you conveniently say all of this now. But before the fight, you were saying the following:

        Sergio Martinez by T/KO

Personally I didn't even see Martinez be as 'shot' as some are desperate to make him out to be. This may sound crazy, but perhaps cotto is just by far the best fighter that Martinez has faced, good defense, good footwork, good hand speed, good power, good reflexes, etc.....and Martinez simply didn't look as good because of that. That tends to happen you know, looking really good against meh competition and looking subpar when you face somebody better.

I'm sure the layoff and knee status did him no favors, but ultimately it wouldn't have mattered, as he just got in the ring with a legend.

Probably because no one could have known the extent of how bad his knees were until after the first bell rung. We never saw any sparring or anything. There was no way of knowing that he'd come in looking THAT bad.

Do you think prime Cotto could beat prime Williams?

You know before Martinez ethered him?

OKay you are right. A 40 year old man who's style his entire career relies on his legs and in and out movement...having bad knees doesnt matter at all.

                  RIght...Cotto fanboy logic lmao.

                    Maybe? Maybe not.

But what we do know for a fact is that Martinez lost to both Margarito and now Cotto.

And what would be Cotto's excuse if he lost? That he's shot? That he's been in too many wars? Too many key losses? Roach's fault? That he was too small? That he never fought a Middleweight before?
