Well, I can admit that I haven't watched all of his fights, I've seen a few. But we all know he's a spoiler. He's got some slick moves, and I do appreciate his old-school style; but he's a negative fighter, I think he can all agree on that? He's very good at what he does, hits you with one good shot then ties up.

Also, what he done with the 'lowblow' in round ten I think it was against Calzaghe, what do you have to say about that?

      at Hopkins.

Kessler is the only person that might and even then I doubt he'd lose to Kessler.

Either way he has a good chance of going through it undefeated which speaks for itself.

Only person who might is Kessler.
Dawson got outhustled by Jean "4 rounds" Pascal. You never know with Fad Chad, wouldn't be surprised if someone like Bika gave him the business too.

Just watch the guy. Let's say, against Lacy, now tell me that isn't a great boxing performance. And watch the way he moves, the guy had so much style. A true stylist. It's not like he had anyone to copy training out there in the middle of nowhere. The guy was a special talent, if you can't at least appreciate that then you're in denial, man.
I'm not impressed by looking great against poor opposition.

It's not difficult to look spectacular against a Jeff Lacy caliber opponent and that's one of his best wins which again speaks volumes.

He didn't look spectacular against Robin Reid or a well passed prime Hopkins or even Byron Mitchell.

Perhaps its a good thing Joe never fought Roy when he was in his 'prime'.

Disgusting ain't it? Jones jr could have failed ALL his drug tests and they'd still praise him, absolutely disgusting. That's what happens when you have fans with an agenda though.

A few? We can't agree on anything because you clearly are judging him based on when he was well past his prime.

Well Pascal is a better than the vast majority of Calzaghes opponents. (I don't rate Pascal highly at all)

Bika wouldn't beat Dawson though. Trouble him perhaps but he's way too slow to beat him.

Is that supposed to impress me?

His opposition was poor for the most part. In his whole career he fought 3 fighters who were ranked in the Top 5.
It's pointless arguing with a guy like you. You just pick one point and stick to that until you die. Like I say, if you can't watch him and realise that he was a special, then I'm sorry for you.

'Well passed prime.' What's Hopkin's doing nowadays? And he was what, 38 for that fight. I think Joe was 36- but of course he was **** in his prime then wasn't he? 2nd last fight of his career. Robin Reid was a tough fight, I'll give you that. (see, I'm willing to budge!) But the Byron Mitchell fight was fantastic! He was knocked down, took a great shot, got to his feet, and rather than running away or tying up, he went toe to toe with Mitchell and knocked him out!! Now if that isn't spectacular, I don't know what is.

Aha, I guess we'll leave it at that then =] Everybody's always a little biased in favour of their favourite fighters. We all got hearts. I do try to be fair haha
