Idk about that Chavez is kinda overrated, his best wins are Roger Mayweather,
Camacho, Taylor (after getting schooled and then somehow KO's in the 12th),
Haugen, Jose Luis Ramirez. He also lost to Whitaker IMO and didn't want a rematch with him when he was offered 7 mill for it. He really has no ATG resume.

This guy throws hard,accurate, precise combo's, it is a thing of beauty. He is 40 years old and still throwing tight accurate combo's. Damn Juan got them hands

I cosign this post, Marquez is one of the best combination and counter punchers the world has seen in many many moons.

He's definitely an ATG at least above the 20s and in my estimation the greates fighter from Mexico that ever lived or have been recorded.

For me, Alexis Arguello is the best combination puncher I've seen.

But Marquez is up there for sure.

Anyways I suggest watching Finito Lopez as well. I was young when he was at his best bet I've been going through his resume that past couple of weeks. Another incredible combination puncher.

Ricardo Lopez throws combinations very similar to Marquez. Which you would expect since both were trained by Nacho.

Daniel Zaragosa might be another one to take a look at, was his fighting style similar?

Yes, Ricardo Lopez and JMM both trained by Nacho Beristain and both among the best throwing combinations on professional boxing. JMM has been one of the best boxers of Mexico but I am not sure if he has surpassed what JCC Sr. accomplished (record on world title fights and total number of fights going undefeated). Ruben Olivares, Salvador Sanchez and same Ricardo Lopez should also be considered in such a discussion to choose the best ever of Mexico.
