Maxboxing, They have a video with Merchant talking about the Varges Mosley fight and says that Margarito without a doubt deserves his shot and that Floyd turned down 7 million to fight him when that would have been the most money Floyd could have ever got.

          hahaha you misunderstood me
i said, who has jjc beaten that was a GREAT fighter. not a really good fighter, who has he beaten that is an all time great??

its funny how you have to hate on floyd because jcc is overrated.

actully, its more sad than funny

Well intill he does Ill consider Floyd great. Its funny how you can see Floyd being great but not seeing Chavez being great when Chavez took out every top fighter in his prime. If you think the ring is bull for having him number 1 for 3 years then what does that make them for having Floyd number 1 pfp right now?

No Floyd not having the balls to fight Margarito is sad. Like I said, Chavez took out the best fighters that were around in his time. Name one fighter that he didnt beat in his prime that he could have to make you see him as a great in your eyes.

I don't hate Chavez but the fact is, he got his bloated record fighting bums. And we all know what we call a fighter who fights bums on a constant basis. A bum himself.

When it was high time to deliver against elites, he got beat. The rationale is really simple if you take a look at it. An elite beats other elites in convincing fashion. Not lose to them.
First of all: If you have to beat other "elites" in convincing fashion, then there are NO elites, because the minute THEY lose to you they are no longer elites! Talk about constructing an IDIOTIC argument!

Second of all, no one beat JC until he was getting old. Everybody starts losing on the downside of their careers, and in his prime, JS was unstoppable. The only person who got close was Meldrick, and he was a ruined fighter after that.

Exactly, its funny how these idiots cant see that and use the padded record excuse as a way out.
