When you have to face a thread of a high skill opponents these are the excuses:.
1. If he didn't won last fight by knockout he is not convincent and don't deserves the fight.
2.- If he won by knockout so boxing is a business and he doesn't produce high monetary gain.
3.- You can alternate with the excuse that you are having some tune up fights witch is perfectly fine and gain some time to use later other excuses.
4.- If none of the last 3 excuses works you can say the opponents has to wait because Im a business man and business are not done in this way.
5.- Meanwhile find all bums or grandpas with big names to easely increase your record. Exception: if Mayweather accept to fight with you do it due to the revenues you will have and return to excuse #1 with any high risk fighter.
Canelo is now expecting that Lara against a defensive fighter like Ishe don't be able to knockout and later use excuse 1. Now he is in excuse 3 and 4. jaja. What a joke, They are kidnapping the sport with excuses than besides your fans are hard to believe

Why are you people focusing on Canelo? Why not Floyd? Lara beats Smith and Floyd beats Madonna in May, then you have Lara vs Floyd in September. The bigger money fight is in fighting Floyd, not Canelo. Floyd is also the champ, not Canelo.

Smith was in a very bad place. Now he might be like the next Zab. Getting big fights and title chances even after losses or when he probably doesnt deserve just because he's with Floyd. With that being said, Lara should win

Even if Lara wins he will probably still get **** on like usual, and I doubt he will get any credit for beating Ishe no matter how he does it, so it's a no win scenario for him, but at least he is staying active not waiting for people to agree to get in the ring, and rusting away.

Agree. This fight with Smith is a trap for Lara. Even if he knock him he will be knocking a bum and if not Canelo will say that Lara doen;t deserve the opportunity because he didn't looked great.
