Well when Broners dad is up in the ring brushing his hair Broner clearly looks taller and Broner is only 5'6 so his dad ain't 5'8

That doesn't mean Canelo was "tight" or "didn't try" against Mayweather. That's a ridiculous perception and sounds like an excuse more than anything else. The reality is when a fighter steps up in competition, it gets tougher. That's a simple concept that seems to go over some peoples head.

A fighters punch output will drop when they are missing and getting countered. That should be pretty obvious if you've followed boxing.
        Great post

I thought AB was like 5'7-5'8.

I strongly disagree. Mayweather is Mike Tyson compared to Broner.

Floyd Is Going To Get More Than He Wants; Maidana Will KO Floyd

I've always said Maidana has a lot of ballz, he does not get intimidated, and he is athletic, and will throw a LOT of punches and make Floyd part with his run and jab defense and have to stand and fight every minute of every round. Guerrero & Canelo both had the power but they let Floyd sit outside and jab and run and counter. Cotto had great success turning his fight with Floyd into a brawl, bloodying Floyd; Cotto just too far past his prime to notch it up a level. Even Victor Ortiz was roughing up Floyd, pushing him around, getting the best of Floyd until Ortiz got ****** on a break, looked at the referee with his hands down and got sucker punched. Maidana will be all over Floyd and he'll get a full plateful of what he dished out to Boner.

Whether he is right or wrong, my money says it will be widely irrelevant. The gameplan would not change, Floyd still won't stop Chino, it would be the same fight.
