But this notion that Canelo just stood in the middle of the ring and boxed is a flat out lie.
Eh...not really. Canelo was too tight in that bout, and was afraid to let his hands go well before he started falling behind. He had too much respect for Floyd from the first bell and it limited what he wanted to do (mentally). It certainly wasn't the same Canelo we saw in his next fight.

He not only didn't try "everything", as you put it, he was timid to try anything for more than a few seconds.

That's how Floyd dictates though: he lands enough counters - usually just single punches - and makes his opponents miss enough that they feel discouraged or even embarrassed. After about 4-5 rounds of this, he's in complete control.

Cotto is about the only fighter in recent memory who hit Floyd flush, a lot, and didn't deviate from his game plan. That was a washed up Cotto too, which makes me wonder how it would have gone had Floyd manned up and actually fought a prime version (when people were calling for it). Don't even get me started on ducking Pacquiao 4 times.

Mike Tyson spoke of how difficult it would be to fight Mayweather, because it's so hard to hit him, and he gets pleasure out of discouraging his opponents. The best bet is to hit anything: arms, elbows, chest, ribs. Fight dirty, and take him off his rhythm. There just isn't a fighter available right now who presents that challenge to Mayweather. Margarito in his prime, when he was cheating, could have. Pacquiao would have cut him up, win or lose.

Back on topic: Maidana may be right about pure strength. He's going to look like every other opponent, however, as Mayweather hand-selects these guys just for that reason.

      3)He lack focus

      Floyd on the other hand
      1 stays in shape
      2 gives a 120% in the gym
3 100 focus no matter who he fights
Make no mistake Floyd will not take Maydana lightly . Maydana on the other hand is taking Floyd lightly

FRAUD didn't pick Chino, and liked Khan, who had agreed to "Terrns",
but Show Time saw the obvious advantage, of using the Broner Affair...
To Promote el Chino as a worthy Challenger, at the Box Office...

Broner gets fatter than Floyd between fights. Floyd is a lil taller. AB is a lil stockier. But at this point in their careers, Floyd is at least a division bigger, if not two.

Broner must have a terrible diet. The dude has a fat, bloated face like he's eating stuff that's triggering allergies.

Broners power is more on par with Berto imo. The difference is that Floyd knows when to use his power and doesn't put everything behind every punch and show all the cards to early in the fight.

Maidana knew just how strong Broner was by the end of round 2 while Floyd's real strength doesn't show up until about rd 5 or 6 he seems to get even stronger

Lol, Maidana doesn't even believe what he's saying. Floyd would mahandle Paulie (who Broner went life or death with) like he's gonna manhandle Maidana. Maidana will come to fight but he will find that Floyd is everything Broner wishes to be and beyond. Canelo, The Ghost, Mosley, Ortiz, Cotto and Marquez ALL came to fight and tried their best to bring it to Floyd then found that Floyd's 45-0 isn't any hype cause he is the real deal. Afterwards they all said, he's stronger, hits harder and is much better than they thought he would be. Maidana is ass out not because he's not good but because he'll be in there with one of the Greatest to ever lace'm up!!
