He wasn't in trouble any time and after the fight he was clearly fine. This **** is ruining the sport.

Good performance by Canelo tho, but maybe just cos Angulo looked well off the pace.
Perro's best round was still a terrible round for him in which he took a beat down. :|.... Canelo put his hands down Mayorga style and gave him brutal shots that had Angulo's face frozen in the air at times.

Who cares about Weeks. Why talk about the stoppage??? Talk about the extremely odd effort Angulo put out there... Pitty pat punches from the get go. Not the guy who put the highly regarded Lara on his a$$ twice. Many of these replies scream "I work in the boxing industry and need to protect the credability of this fight". C'mon, lol.

couldn't have said this better some people are ****** and virgil hunter looked like a ****ing dumbs if you are thinking about stopping the ****ing fight don't say **** and just step in and throw in the towel. he said that as a way for wishing the refeere to stop it and come out with an excuse of why he lost.

Lara was thinking on his mind wtf is going on i taught angulo was going to hurt him like he did to me

I agree. He did not look like the same fighter who faced Lara. He looked slow, sluggish and weak.

Said it before.... Perro was too poo slooowwww... I only see Lara or Mayweather as fighters that can beat Canelo. Kirkland is too slow, Smith to slow, k9 way to slow....

Just because you lose to the best p4p fighter, doesn't make you a horrible boxer. Makes you not the best. Canelo still has skill and shows he can move up and possibly do work as well.

I can see that, but I think he has reached his ceiling size wise at JMW. He is a tiny dude by comparison to the average MW. Will be interesting to see though. Cotto and Martinez beat him IMO.

Bad stoppage, but Angulo had no chance of winning. It was a wipeout.

I don't know how Angulo ate all those hard, clean punches without going down. Weeks is a good referee. He let him take 10 rounds of brutal punishment before stopping the fight. Angulo wasn't going to win. There was no stamina issue going on and the punches he was able to land did nothing to Canelo. Another two rounds would have just resulted in more punishment for him and maybe a serious injury.

                      Su****ious mind

Call me crazy but Angulo was painfully slow, tooo slow and his punches were kind of soft in the first five rounds, you could hear Hunter urging him to fight.
It was not the same dog that fought Lara....
