Like I said before the fight. You guys need to stop being fanboys and start being honest and realistic. I said that Canelo would win and win decisively and knew he would stop Angulo. He is on another level and serious about his craft. I told you guys that Angulo would take a beating. Canelo is too good defensively, too smart, too fast, and too strong for Angulo. His conditioning has gotten better as well. LOOK OUT LARA!!!!!!!! Props to Angulo on his chin and heart though. Lara is a good fighter BUT you guys also over-rate him like you do everyone else. Canelo is going to KO him. If Angulo can hurt him what do you think an A Level fighter like Canelo would do to him? Make it happen because he talks a lot of ****!!!!!

Who cares about Weeks. Why talk about the stoppage??? Talk about the extremely odd effort Angulo put out there... Pitty pat punches from the get go. Not the guy who put the highly regarded Lara on his a$$ twice. Many of these replies scream "I work in the boxing industry and need to protect the credability of this fight". C'mon, lol.

U know what I was a little upset about the sudden stoppage, but after hearing Malignaggi right now having memories of Magomed.........................you know dude? Angulo wasn't gonna win his punches just weren't hurting Canelo at all, he was going to lose, so what is worth to take more damage?

I don't know didn't like the timing of the stoppage but I respect Tony's decision.

On one hand I thought that both fighters would land flush so the fight came down to who had the better defense and who smothered the other's offensive better; on the other hand I though Angulo would land that left hook on Canelo and let us see what Canelo does when he's in danger.

I guess I can't complain about the stoppage but damn. Did Angulo have somebody threaten his family or something? He looked slow, tentative, and overall just sluggish. Did someone poison his water bottles? He looked horrible. I've never been a Canelo fan but I have to admit that he did his job. He was compact, fast and accurate with his punches. But what the hell happened to Angulo?

If your Going to let him come out for the next round you gotta give him more than one punch. Otherwise he should of stopped it in the corner. It doesn't make sense. I won't take credit from Canelo though, he was beating the breaks off Angulo. I picked Angulo to wear him down but Canelo had a great game plan and Angulo looked like he was fighting under water.

I was thinking every single thing you posted during the fight. Angulo was throwing the most bs potty pat punches to the point it looked fixed. No discredit to Canelo but something def wasn't right with Angulo.

Honestly it was a good performance. I think it was stopped ridiculously early and I think Angulo was doing a lot better in the late rounds
