I think this fight is more about how bad Angulo was than how good Canelo was. Canelo was good and I'll give him credit. Something was very obviously off about Angulo tonight. Maybe Lara put the thing down on him?

not the same. gatti at least had success to the point where you thought he could have a chance at winning if the fight continued. angulo not so much. he did zero to indicate he had any chance of winning. weekes is not incompetent, he might have stopped it a tad early but even angulo's trainer said he'd only give him that one round before stopping the fight.

I think that kind of stoppage should ONLY been done by your CORNER or TEAM. NOT by a REF.

With that said. I don't think Angulo won ANY round in that fight. And I do think Tony Weeks saved Angulo's face and/or health.
