canelo looked like a sensational fighter last night. it was the best performance of his career. i doubted canelo. i thought angulo wud cause him problems. what a performance.

angulo did look slow and weight drained. his punches did lack power. but credit to canelo he hit angulo with big shots and evaded his punches. canelos defensive skills are under estimated.

canelo is still a marquee fighter. erislandy lara had life and death with angulo. i think after that he should stop calling out canelo. because he will get a big pay day but he will get stopped too.

Talk about learning from his mistakes. Canelo didn't let the Floyd loss haunt him. He was confident, sharp, and very fit. The Mayweather fight may have been the very tipping point in this young man's career.

Too bad Floyd will be old and gone before Canelo is good enough to get a shot at a rematch.
