Turned into a damn good scrap there, guys. I know we all wanted more, I sure did, but it was probably for the best it was stopped.

angulo wasn't starting to do anything. the fight wasnt stopped as he was starting to come on. it was stopped when he kept eating punches. his own corner said they would only give him 1 more round. any success he had was with punches with no power, he wasnt stopping canelo and he cant win on the cards having lost every round.

That's obviously a premature stoppage. Both fighters and everyone in the arena thought so. Seems the only one who didn't was the ref. perro just had his best round and Canelo lands one punch so Weeks stops it? Disgraceful. He had some bruises, so what? He wasn't in trouble any time and after the fight he was clearly fine. This **** is ruining the sport.

Good performance by Canelo tho, but maybe just cos Angulo looked well off the pace.

Good performance by Canelo. He started off aggressive and he needs to do that more in his upcoming fights.

So the question is: What's next for Alvarez? Lara? Not really much in the way of JMW except for the up and comers. I think Alvarez is small for middleweight.

Perro was weight drained. That explains why he was so sluggish and his punches weren't that hard.
