Honestly it was a good performance. I think it was stopped ridiculously early and I think Angulo was doing a lot better in the late rounds

I do agree Angulo looked kind of off though. He seemed SO nervous and tense in the first round, kind of how Shane looked vs Floyd. Didnt help he was getting rocked hard, even Virgil noticed it and asked him. Canelo took the fight out of him. I think they may have trained with an emphasis in something they shouldnt have though... I guess it's easy to look strong too though until you meet someone stronger who makes you look like a chump...

I don't agree. They are about the same size and the fact is Angulo looked off. An argument can be made that Angulo was just getting beat up, but I literally thought that he was bull****ting at the beginning of the fight just to gauge Alvarez and then start bringing the pain. Sadly, I'm still waiting for him to bring it...

So There U Have It, A Fight, Both Exchanged Hard Combinations, Pressed, Got Gas'd....

That's what championships should look like with both guys near or at their peak, exchanging, empty their tank in the ring, and a winner is declared. That was a great fight that grows Canelo, he's going to be a full fledged middleweight sooner than later. Lara isn't going to warrant a Canelo fight. Canelo just had a helluva workout tonight and the future is bright. He clearly fights the winner of Cotto/Martinez, which will be Cotto. Chavez Jr is going to get KO'd by Gennady, then Canelo will get Cotto, beat Cotto, Gennady can knock out Lara, then an epic fight is had in 2015 between Canelo and Gennady. Both fighters will be better, grown up, and at the peak of their careers by then, and we could end up with a classic. The winner should call out Andre Ward if he's been able to duck enough talent and still have a title by then.

Like I said....Virgil asked if Canelo's punches were hurting him after round 1 and he said yeah kind of....hearing that from your fighter after the first round is never a good sign and probably why he didn't commit nearly as much.
