The stoppage was probably a bit premature, but Canelo was pitching a shut out, never looked hurt, and was punishing Angulo round after round.

Very impressed with Canelo tonight! The footwork, the shot placement, power and the defense everything was there! I don't know whats up with the fans though. Before the Mayweather fight this kid was adored. Now all of a sudden he's the bad guy or something because of 1 loss to one of the GOAT?

That was enough, that was a brutal beating I didn't expect it to be that bad. I don't see how that was a bad stoppage.

Because it was the beginning of the round and one punch that didn't even hurt Angulo any more than a hundred other punches before it. Let Angulo's corner do it, or wait a little longer into the round. Even Alvarez was pissed off.

Didn't really like the stoppage...Angulo is a very tough dog and anything could have happened even though he was getting beat.
