I'll eat my crow, Canelo looked really impressive. However, Angulo was very disappointing and looked off, I don't know what the hell it was. I'm not trying to put Canelo's performance down but you gotta admit that looked nothing like the Angulo that fought Lara.

It's killing me that so many people are claiming that Angulo threw the fight/pulled punches. The guy was getting beaten pillar to post trying to win, and people are saying he was paid off. Did no one see him crying while cradled in Vergil Hunter's arms, pissed off about what he thought was a premature stoppage? Dislike Canelo all you like, but don't disrespect Angulo just to discredit him. Alfredo Angulo obviously wanted the W, he just wasn't good enough for it.

I watched Robert denero cry in raging bull after he threw the fight also ,but the fight was still fixed .

Well he was never gonna win with then punch power of a ten year old.

Doesn't mean he wasn't going for it though. He never stopped stalking Canelo, and letting his hands go when he was in close. And like I said, the guy cried because of what he thought was a BS stoppage. Those simply are not the signs of a fighter paid to lose. It's actually more respectful to just say Angulo ****** tonight.

All I got to say is Canelo looked good and that 152 pound bs made a difference in his previous fight

I'll say this. Canelo has learned from his fight with Floyd. Floyd watched tonight and knows this as well. There will be no rematch because one thing Floyd has always been good at, is knowing who to fight and when to fight them. He caught the kid at the right time and drained him on top of that. Why he gets credit for that ghost of a fighter he fought that night is beyond me. Anyway, good win for Canelo and if they did ever fight again, he would beat this version of Floyd because he is a better fighter now and fixed his two biggest flaws, which were stamina and punch output. If they fought again, Canelo would impose his size on Floyd like he did the supposed harder punching Angulo tonight. I think he makes Floyd look more his age. Just trust me on that. Wishful thinking though. Lara is getting the beat down next.

He definitely learned from Floyd. The way he stood his ground and pushed forward threw Angulo off.

The tenacity was another thing. The way Floyd makes people gunshy and and not put their best shots out was the way Canelo did it tonight.
Canelo always had that, but this time he did it from the start and
i have never seen Canelo so fast and so crisp as he was in the first two rounds. very impressive

De Niro's performance in Raging Bull was a dramatization of real life events, and as such, shouldn't be compared to this guy bawling in the ring in real life. Also, LaMotta throwing the fight was pretty damned obvious, whereas Angulo fought hard until he was stopped. Furthermore, LaMotta losing and paying off the Mob got him a shot at the title. The only thing Angulo is getting is a send off the the bottom of the rankings list.
