Depends on what the definition of ATG is?

Rated against the competition of his day he was great, and given that's what he should be judged against, then yes, Joe Frazier is an ATG!

There are a certain group of individual, the "Old Time Nut Bag", that like to pretend that an ATG could be great in any subsequent era. Obviously this makes no sense whatsoever.

To be nice to Frazier for a change, all I'll say is Joe DEFINITELY falls into this category.

There is not a single HW I can think of he would be able to beat today who is relevant and I am unsure about his performance at Cruiser either, how that would go.

Those fights were both rubbish.

The first one featured a 1 dimensional powerless dwarf overwhelming a reactionless Ali who'se hugging was only eclipsed 43 years later in Povetkin vs Klitschko.

The second featured the same 2 jokers but this time grossly out of shape.

I would compare him a bit to Rid**** Bowe, just Bowe was bigger, stronger and had a much better chin.

The thing with Frazier, he had the style to beat Ali, which shows you Ali was very beatable matched against the right opponent for the job.
