I would say no. Can argue though that Floyd is better than anyone Chavez has ever fought. Whitaker spanked Chavez and IMO Floyd is the greater fighter.

Has Floyd fought someone as good as Chavez Sr and Leonard?

Mosley losses:
Forrest 2x- 154 - Boxer/defensive type, 6' - 73"
Winky 2x- 154 - Boxer/defensive, 5' 11" - 72"
De La Hoya II*(Arguable) - 154 - 5' 11" - 73"
DLH Losses in his prime:
Trinidad* - 5' 11" - 73" Reach
Hopkins - 6' 1" - 75"
Sturm - 6' - 73"
Mosley - 5' 9" - 71"
Size, height is not the be all, end all in boxing. It is size, height and skill. When you are bigger and taller, and skillful, it will take another big, tall and skillful opponent to take you on, most of the time, unless you run into a very, very good shorter fighter. Chavez at 5' 7" with his short 65" reach just wouldn't cut it for a prime DLH/Mosley.
Even Mayweather at 5' 8" has unusually long reach at 72".
Again, don't mistake my post with me saying "Height and reach bats anything". I am saying height/size, and reach in relation to skill is a very important combination.
As far as Chavez not being Pacquiao or Mayweather we'll that's a completely diferent discussion but skill wise he's more than plenty skilled. Like I said I'd advise you to take a closer look at his fights as most of his skills subtle and easily ingnored.

Boxrec sucks and always has done for height listings. Khan used to be listed as 5-10 for the longest time and Ricky Burns still is, despite both clearly being in the 5-8 range. Hopkins himself has stated he is six foot, so that three inch difference would make De La Hoya closer to 5-9 than 5-11.

Nope.
Nope. He hasn't. Floyd is a great fighter but he is a bit over-rated. Social media, network TV, and pop culture has a way of making a figure appear BIGGER than what they are. Floyd's talent level, is larger than his balls. I am forever convinced that he is an insecure fighter who is good at match-making. He is the one that has to look into the mirror every morning, and face the fact that he never reached his full potential. At least I can say that he was on his way when he had a boss and couldn't pick his opponent. Now it's almost too late to join the ring immortals of yester-year. SRL is perhaps the greatest to lace up gloves. He would "F" Floyd up, Sr. style. The Chavez Sr. fight is a 50/50 one because of Floyd's reach and size advantage. Remember, Sr. had weighed the most ever up until that point, against Sweet Pea, which was a catch-weight of 143 I believe. But still, skill-wise, Floyd has never faced anyone as tough or as conditioned as those two. Manny would give Floyd all he can handle and he KNOWS it. It's his simple-minded fans that don't.

Maybe The Illuminati is behind Boxrec. Boxers are probably the size of Smurfs, it's all an illusion.

You're the one who brought up height in the first place, dunce. If you don't want to be corrected, don't use ******/wrong listings.
