Haha, you seem to be set in your ways. It's cool. I love Casamyor. I'm just saying, Chavez would beat that ass.

I understand that the only reason I stated that was because he was so adamant about his tale of the tape theory. In retrospect Chavez Against either of their guys would've been great fights and hard to predict I still say it's laughable that both guys beat a prime Sr. handily without breaking a sweat as Kev implied simply on height and reach advantages. It took a loong time for that to happen. So long I'm surprised you even mentioned it...
I think that as great as Sr was, there comes a time where someone is so good that the size difference tips the scale in a big way. I'm almost a sr nut hugger (from culiacan and all..) but it'd be silly to thing Chavez just runs through prime versions of Shane and Oscar.
Chavez vs Shane would have been a war but you have to wonder how much punishment Chavez would be able to take from a prime Shane (likewise for Oscar).Comment

What smaller men did they lose to in their prime? You realize Chavez is no Mayweather and no Pacquiao?
Mosley losses:
Forrest 2x- 154 - Boxer/defensive type, 6' - 73"
Winky 2x- 154 - Boxer/defensive, 5' 11" - 72"
De La Hoya II*(Arguable) - 154 - 5' 11" - 73"
DLH Losses in his prime:
Trinidad* - 5' 11" - 73" Reach
Hopkins - 6' 1" - 75"
Sturm - 6' - 73"
Mosley - 5' 9" - 71"
Size, height is not the be all, end all in boxing. It is size, height and skill. When you are bigger and taller, and skillful, it will take another big, tall and skillful opponent to take you on, most of the time, unless you run into a very, very good shorter fighter. Chavez at 5' 7" with his short 65" reach just wouldn't cut it for a prime DLH/Mosley.
Even Mayweather at 5' 8" has unusually long reach at 72".
Again, don't mistake my post with me saying "Height and reach bats anything". I am saying height/size, and reach in relation to skill is a very important combination.Comment

@ De La Hoya being 5-11. I've seen some bull**** height listings in my time and that's definitely up there.
He looked like crap against him. Didn't have a clue on how to cope with Holiday's constant smothering, which completely negated Mosley's offensive prowess.
But yeah, Chavez doesn't stand a chance against this dude.Comment
