Has Floyd fought someone as good as Chavez Sr and Leonard?

His father fought Sugar Ray Leonard and Roger Mayweather fought Julio Chavez Sr, has Floyd fought any one with the status and skill of those 2?

Skill wise, IMO, Mosley, Marquez and De La Hoya > Chavez Sr. Not greater, just skill wise.

Leonard? No one, and that's not a fair question because there's no one that has been out there in Floyd's era to match SRL.

Of course! Proper credit must be given where it's due to the likes of Baldomir, Guererro, and Canelo, rofl. Wait wait, Ortiz! Let's not forget the ATG Ortiz, rofl.

Hell no, Chavez and Leonard were great fighters.

How many great fighters does Floyd have on his Resume?

Floyd's best win was Diego Corrales way back at 130 for *** sakes.

Thread starter should watch some fights first.

Chavez SR was saved against Taylor, does SR have a win as good as Castillo does vs Casamayor? NOPE

There were never any fighters in Floyd's weight class that were on that level. The closest would have been Pacquiao in 2009.

IMO, I don't know why i'm alone on this, but I just think prime/past prime De La Hoya would always beat the living crap out of young/prime/peak/old Chavez Sr. That's just me. Nothing in their fights showed me that Chavez had anything for DLH no matter what version of him appeared in the ring. Similar to Mayweather vs Marquez.

DLH vs Chavez I and II were too big of a beating to think any version of Chavez would come remotely close to beating DLH. It was a slaughter against a still top 5 Chavez. I'm just not buying into the hype of the 100+ fights. I think Mosley would have always destroyed Chavez Sr too.
