Its obvious that you have never trained in any form of grappling art or wrestling, much harder to learn let alone master then a punching bag.

This is like saying 'man, Mayweather would get his ass kicked at a karate tournament'. Just makes him sound like a dumbass.
I bet Peyton Manning would get freaking SMOKED in the Daytona 500.
Tight logic.

I happen to really like Kimbo Slice...I think what he did was interesting and different than a professional athlete who fights does. But Kimbo is a great example of what happens when you go outside your area of expertise.
As a matter of fact the same can be said for the Gracie Brothers. They were able to neutralize any attack....a wonderful and admiral martial arts skill. But when the comp got better in MMA and they were outside that area of expertise they lost the edge they had.
You see where i am going with this? I bet if you went to Curling, the gayest sport in existence, and you had been a janitor so you could sweep....you would do ok at a certain level, but when you got to a place where the better curlers (I am laughing at this notion) were, you would not be able to hang on that skill alone. IN A WORD its all sports because human beings are training specific when it comes to learned behavoir.

It's just logic that a boxer isn't going to beat an MMA fighter In the octagon and an MMA fighter isn't going to beat a boxer in the ring. But fair enough MMA might be big in America but it's no where near as big as boxing in the UK or in Europe for that matter.

Mma guys largely overspecialize, thus diluting their overall focus and artistry. A jack of all trades is a master of none.

Needless to say, it can be easily argued the best boxers also have better conditioning.

floyd is so athletic that he could become a top level wrestler in about 6 months. If he wanted to, he could be the 160 mma champion, but he goes after the dough.
Where Bruce mislead people is his method of diluting disciplines only truly works for martial prodigies like him. Everyone else should pick a specialization, and strive to perfect it.
