I think Cintron would be good as well..he has a good pedigree in amatuer wrestling. .and he would have insane KO power witg those little ass gloves

but on the topic, even the most mediocre MMA fighter would beat the **** out of Floyd..

Dana White should put up $60mil guarantee to Floyd..I'd love to see that fool get grounded and pounded then put in an arm bar in 2mins

Floyds style would actually transfer awesomely over to muay thai and he woud be strong and fast enough to learn a mean takedown defense.

But all this is besides the fact.

Dana White says he loves boxing but he talks trash about PBF? PBF has done things in the ring that we have never seen in the history of boxing. I cant think of any fighter that we have ever seen be able to stand in the pocket and not get hit.

Statements like this prove to me that Dana White doesnt even know the sport of boxing or is trying ruin the sport of boxing. Or at least promoting his sport at the cost of boxing (obviously).

Best defensive boxer of all time and Dana White brings him down then turns around and acts like he knows and loves the sport. This is illogical.

I dont think any smart fan looks at statements like this and think less of Floyd or higher of MMA but less of Dana White.

Only moron here is you, GSP is by far the SUPERIOR ATHLETE. That doesn't doesn't take away anything from PBF's boxing acumen.

BS, Vitali was a Kickboxer/Sambo player BEFORE he became a boxer (aka he learned to strike and grapple already).

Its obvious that you have never trained in any form of grappling art or wrestling, much harder to learn let alone master then a punching bag.

I couldn't agree more. Great points!

Look that's ignorance on your part, I'm a 100% boxing fan! I watch some mma here and there but it will never capture my attention like boxing! That bent said, there's plenty of guys that are as good as if not better athletes than Mayweather, guys like St. Pierre for example, then there's guys in the general MMA world that are far more dedicated to their respective sport as well such as Rickson Gracie!

And to be fair to Dana White he was asked the question in an interview and he answered fairly and truthfully, Mayweather wouldn't compete in the octagon! He also stated that MMA guys couldn't compete with boxers in a ring!

Only chance he would have is his hand speed and accuracy with those little gloves. Floyd could beat some of those guys with some training against leg kicks and take downs. But once he has to take on MMA elite fighters he has no chance.
