Is there any options that Mayweather has at 147 that are not cherry picks?

I didn't like that he didn't fight Margarito in 06' but ya'll act like there's no coincidence that only people he hasn't or didn't fight were Marg and Pac, and they have one thing in common.

Floyd isn't ever going to fight a Top Rank fighter, just like Pacquiao isn't going to fight a Golden Boy affiliated fighter. Floyd was only ducking Margarito after he split from Top Rank.

I'm expecting Garcia or Alexander. Think about it like this....

In 2011, Ortiz beat up on Berto, who did Floyd fight........Ortiz

In 2012, Guerrero beat up on Berto, who did Floyd fight.......Guerrero

So now all of a sudden in 2012, Garcia KO's Khan, proceeds to defeat Matthysse and establish himself at the man at 140 and Top 10 P4P, while Khan struggles with Julio Diaz and Floyd fights........Khan????

I don't see it. This stinks just like the Mayweather-Campbell/Malignaggi/Spadafora stuff.

Amir Khan would be the lowest most sour cherry like ever.

Garcia decided to take his time.

Thurman is absolutely no cherrypick. He's welterweights GGG.

Devon is and has always been a solid opponent at 147 for pretty much anyone.

Bradley would be the perfect choice, but different promo companies.

Pacman right now most definitely is a cherrypick.

That's my preference Bush, Bradley. An opponent who can fight from close range, mid range, outside, defend well when he isn't fighting ******, counter well, the speed is there too. Ideally that's what I'd like most, an opponent who can change his looks, be versatile and Floyd hasn't seen that really. Also Bradley's will, the fact that if he's down on the cards he's gonna go balls to the wall.

I think people's familiarity with only the PPV era has them thinking every fight should be like "The One".
Up until last year, Mayweather was fighting once a year in his comeback. Every fight was "The One."

That's why people didn't complain too much about Guerrero last year, it was just one of two fights that year. Fighting "ranked contenders" isn't as easy to deal with when a fighter isn't fighting often. Mayweather got **** because him fighting Ortiz and Marquez and Cotto are the only times we'll see him. Plus we're paying 70 bucks for it? Screw that, damn right I'm complaining.

Definitely not a cherry pick in my eyes.

Who else should he have fought? Pacquaio wasn't available and Ortiz was the #2 guy and the best option at the time.

People were saying "It's the first time Mayweather's fought a big, strong, hard punching fighter in their prime in years".

Thurman continues to be overrated. But I guess he does have big muscles and throws a big punch. Just ask the beasts he's faced.
