Hatton was expected to be blown out and he was a far bigger underdog than Danny was against Matthysse. Tyszu was in the top 3 fighters in the world at the time, Matthysse wouldn't even sniff most legitimate top 10s.

Tyszu was "done" but he still managed to blast out Mitchell who was his number 1 contender for years no matter how much you try to downplay him.

Between 05-08, Hatton did some great work against Top 10, world level and even P4P level fighters that got him into the Top 10 P4P list.

Tszyu, Maussa, Urango, Collazo, Malignaggi, Lazcano, etc, that's the great work Hatton put in.

The likes of Ben Tackie and co and his great run with WBU that's not even a real belt is basically irrelevant and worthless.
