Holt's got decent wins over Diaz, Torres, J.Diaz.

He probably has a better resume than Maussa

I can agree I suppose with Campbell. In his day he was better than Mausssa, maybe not when they fought.

As it stands now I'd say it's fairly close but the Tszyu win gives Hatton the edge for now.

This is really ******. Hatton had along career and on the way up had a lot of wins against decent opposition. Shall we all just act like he did nothing between 2000 and 2005? Oh sht! I forgot that this is NSB, the ****** haven for people that have been watching boxing for all of five minutes.

Dont get me wrong, I like Garcia and he is on an impressive tear and looking better with every outing, but no fooking way! Not yet and not for a while yet.

What would you say Hatton did between 2000-2005? Outside of the Tszyu fight of course.

Look, you cannot include Castillo as a top or solid win, you just can't. He was beyond shot.

It doesn't matter if Maussa had a paper belt or only got knocked out by the only top fighter he fought. He's not good, he is at the very least the same level fighter as Holt and Campbell.
Yes, and he also tested positive for PEDs didn't he? I think so. I'm not including Castillo as a top win! It was one of the first things I wrote in this thread. I also responded with his name, as people brought up Morales.

As fighters, they are on the same level, yes. But at the stage in their career where they fought Hatton and Garcia respectively, Moussa was at his best, and Holt and Campbell weren't. at all. And their best was never that good to begin with. and neither was Moussa's.

Nevertheless, Hatton still has Collazo, Malignaggi, Tszuy, Lazcano and Urango. Add to that he's got guys like a past prime Castillo and Moussa as his second tier of wins.

Danny has Khan and Matthysse as his best wins. Then he's got a past prime Kendall Holt, past prime Campbell, shot Morales and past prime Judah.

As I started out by saying, it is close - but Hatton fought at a higher level. He also defended a world title more times against higher ranked opponents than Garcia did.

He fought the likes of Jon Thaxton, Freddie Pendleton, Magee and quite a few others, very solid pros and all before his shot against Tszyu. Garcia just hasnt had that sort of career, hasnt got the numbers and as such didnt have to work anywhere near as hard as Ricky did. To say otherwise is flat out dumb.

Like I said, Hatton has the edge with the Tszyu win but it's certainly close. Khan, Matthysse and Judah are better wins than anything Hatton has outside of Tszyu.

                  Freddie Pendleton? Come on.

Thaxton, Magee, these aren't good wins at all.

Ricky Hatton pretty much did nothing of note between 2000-2004 when holding his paper belt hostage.

But I believe that was only because people started bringing Terrible's name up.

Judah? Really? I don't even remember last time he won a legitimate fight.

He was coming off the Paris fight that he was expected to lose.

Judah is definitely better than the vast majority of Hatton's wins.
