Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Brits are better I'm just saying we do conditioning more scientifically. However, you can't expect Britain to produce as many skilled fighters as America which has 5x the population or Mexico which has a large population and where boxing is a much bigger deal.

Yeah but his stamina in the ring is garbage.

Canelo was training in altitude + was probably his 2nd/3rd workout of the day. Last time I checked, a 30 second clip from All Access is not determinative of Canelo's stamina.

          You girls crack me up.
See my earlier posts on altitude (I think second/third page) - I accounted for it already. It turns out that it doesn't make much difference at the height Canelo was at, which is not shocking for anyone that knows 800m is largely an anaerobic event, as is boxing. What workout it is is totally irrelevant. As I've said many times, lots of boxers I know (of comparable weight) can easily beat Canelo's times and they are not professionals by any stretch of the imagination.

amazed at how much of a reaction this is getting. How fast someone runs doesn't mean anything. His stamina issues come from his frame as well as trying to make junior middleweight. He's going to be a middleweight in 2014.

Lol at stamina issues. Canelo isn't going to have stamina issues in this fight, just like he hasn't in any other fight, besides arguably Trout.

Brits suck at boxing and running. Not elite in either.

Also you didn't factor in Canelo's Snake. His genitals are abnormally large and weigh significantly more than your regular boxer. It effects both his ability to run and his form.

Spare me this nonsense - 800 is anaerobic and this wouldn't make that much difference. The captain of Varsity last year where I study had to shave off ridiculous amounts of weight (with no option of shedding water like Canelo as this is the amateurs) and he was on a diet like Canelo. He was eating carrots, Broccoli and fish/bone dry meat every meal. His diet was totally over the top yet he busted out a 10 minute time in the 2 mile time trial, which is incredible and much much better than Canelo could hope for. Now, obviously Canelo is a top class boxer but it's clear to me when he fights that he has stamina issues and his running times are in line with that observation.

Silly yank. For the most part, American's are good at sports that nobody else cares about.

You guys are forgetting about the altitude at Big Bear, its over 6000ft. When my relatives from the UK come to visit me here at 3500ft, some of them can't even run up a set of stairs.
