Castillo also had his remedy later on in his career, which made those wins (second one mostly) better with time. I think he took Corrales place on the p4p list when he beat him in the rematch.
Sadly Castillo was never a feature on The Ring's P4P list.

I think he should have been though.

As far as I'm aware De La Hoya has nothing to do with the P4P rankings or the Magazine in general.

It's always these threads that ruffle the feathers.

i thought he was there in 2000 or something after beating johnston who was ranked at the bottom. Could be wrong though.

Did he not make it in 2005 after Corrales II ?

Floyd ranks higher. Undefeated, beat JMM every round easily, Pac lost a debatable match to Bradley. History books will lean towards floyd being greater.

I didn't think he had but I just checked and it seems you're right he did get on there in the mid 00's.

Baffling to me considering he should have been on there much earlier.

He should have been there after Johnston, I honestly thought he was. Regardless, I would probably say either him or Corrales is Mayweather's best win. But when you look at Floyd's record it's just evident that it just has that little more depth than Pacquiaos.

Castillo's his best win, for me.

Greatest Lightweight of his era, greatest Lightweight of the last 20 years, much smaller fighter.

Castillo's so underrated IMO I would vote for him for the HOF but I doubt he will make it.

you must not like Whitaker then
and anyway, what's that got to do with resumes?
