I'm just going by The Ring's P4P rankings like everyone else.

Lol which version of Marquez? The guy who he drew with or the ones where he could have lost both fights? Or the one where he got KTFO?

Or are we talking how Floyd schooled Marquez like it was man vs boy in there. Won 12 rounds with ease.

I'm not even on here to get into a silly argument of Pac vs Floyd. It's old news and it bores me out.

Floyd has a deeper resume. it's as simple as that. But I still don't see who the stand-out win is? Corrales/Castillo for Floyd and Barrera/Morales for Pac?

At this point Mayweather ranks higher. Pacquiao is in a bigger decline than Mayweather IMO. Mayweather has fresher legs and his intangibles are still intact. Mayweather still show a newer improved version of himself in almost every fight. I honestly couldn't say that about Pacquiao. With that being said, this poll result is only going to end up like a political election. Everyone will be towing the party line when they vote so expect the same results every time.

Guererro yes but not so much Canelo. Although, Guererro was boarderline for me anyway.

Not saying anything about The Ring regardless, just using them as everyone does/has for however long.

I use to do the same until DLH bought it. Now i dont even look at it. Nothing against DLH. You can see the bias in it.

Unless we're counting rematchs I count the same.

Either way, there's still not many.

As great as Ward has looked in the ring, when confronted by Nes from ThaBoxingVoice, Nes tried to get Ward to react to some of the negative comments Mayweather made in the past, Ward instead was all praise and said Floyd was still the best fighter in the sport. In my opinion that says a lot coming from Ward because it wouldn't be blasphemous if Ward called himself the best currently. Of course this has nothing to do with greatness, all I'm saying is Mayweather's performances in the ring parallel his status of being known as the best.

The way I see it, each of them are 3 division champions with Floyd working on his 4th:

Mayweather - Super featherweight (W over Hernandez), Lightweight (Castillo II), Welterweight (Baldomir)

Pacquiao - Featherweight (Barrera), Junior Lightweight (Morales, Barrera and Marquez the first time), Junior Welterweight (Hatton)

Their resumes have been discussed to death so I'm not listing their wins but its pretty much a wash with MAYBE Pacquiao getting the slight edge.

Floyd's wins were more dominant and his resume has much more depth. They both have inexcusable misses on their resume, Pac has losses which you have to consider and since 2011, Floyd has been much more resilient.

I give Floyd the edge but its razor thin close. If he closes out strong in these last 5 I think it will be a little more clear.

pacquiao got stopped by guys who are complete 'no-namesters' in singsurat and torrecampo....

at least his back to back losses against bradley and marquez are somewhat respectable....

but pacquiao's career's ending like it started....

                      he's no floyd.
