The red head is Floyd's toughest fight in almost 5 years. Consider this, do you really think any of the fighters Floyd fought (Guerrero, cotto, Ortiz, Mosley, JMM) can beat canelo?

Floyd is going to get exposed by the ginger. Though Canelo much younger than Floyd, he is calm and collected, he handles his business like a professional. Canelo isn't an immature child like floydie. The guy is all class and rather have his hands do all the talking in the ring.

Canelo will be the new champion, Floyd is getting old and isn't sharp as he used to be and don't don't the Guerrero fight fool you. Re watch the cotto fight again.

Now you are left with the other 4 WW. Did you check how many fights at WW that those 4 had at WW? 4 Fighters fought a TOTAL of 4 WW fights!!! AND two of those were against Berto!

Oscar by then was a full time promoter and part time boxer. Go check out how many fights he was having and also his record over the last 3 or so years.

By the time Floyd fought Cotto, Cotto had been thru many wars and we all knew where that fight was headed to. Cotto did better than most expected which in itself shows what most people thought about that one. This fight took place 4-5 years too late.

Canelo is inexperienced and as Floyd's team admitted recently, Canelo has many weaknesses (flat-footed, low work-rate, stamina issues, inexperienced ..... ) plus Floyd made sure that the cards are stacked in Floyd's favor by inducing Canelo to go down to a CW of 152.

      So that's the analysis ....
      great job, breaking it down,,,,,

First of all didn't Floyd start his career at 130? Thats 10 lbs lighter than were Hatton began his at 140! How many fights had Floyd had a welterweight when he faced these guys? Only a handful actually....also didn't Floyd who had never fought a 154 give up every advantage to face Oscar? The boxer/promoter had everything he needed to beat Floyd and still loss! And who didn't want the fight 5 years ago? Floyd or Cotto? I think we both know Cotto, according to Bob Arum was not "ready for a Mayweather fight."

Tired of all these excuses, Just give Floyd his damn credit!! Let some other fighter fight the same exact opponents at the same exact time and you would call them ATG GOATS!!! But since its Floyd its cherrypicking, unbelievable the power of hate is!

I said Alvarez would be easier for Floyd, it doesn't matter if other opponents would beat him or not.

He should have fought Manny. Simple as. Even though Manny walked from the meeting. Still hurts Floyd's resume

floyd. he's the one who turned down a career high payday against cotto. he's the one that said cotto lived too far away so he couldn't fight him. maybe arum made him do those things with his mind power?

so i guess manny win's over mosley is much better.

i think most fighters would rather fight a guy who's top 3 p4p number 1 ww just coming off one of the biggest wins in his career or fight a guy who just got embarrased in a 12 round fight had a draw with freaking mora and was about a year or two older.

also it's funny how it matters how many times a guy has fought at ww before floyd can face them.

seeing as manny had 2 fights at ww before everyone wanted him to fight floyd and only one of those was a legit fight it only matters when you can use it against him i guess.

How come we never phrase this as Manny should of fought Floyd? Cause last time I checked Manny walked away from the "Test" and he walked away from "40 million" so yeah, Manny should of fought Floyd. Now when Manny presents Floyd with a contract to sign like Floyd presented Manny with a contract to sign let me know
