Pac and his handlers are straight dumb..
My point is that it's a little hypocritical to ask a warrior boxing champ to not fight like one. It's boxing, this happens. Lets wait and see how he looks after this and make judgement then.

Anyone who gets hit that flush goes to sleep with punches they never see.

when negotiating the cotto cw Manny was qouted as saying he "had nothing more to prove against JMM". It wasn't about challenge, honor or anything of the sort.Last edited by The Big Dunn; 08-05-2013, 09:20 AM.

You people are fools. How many times has Pacquiao said something along the lines of his own KO wins being lucky? It's just his way of saying that anything can happen in boxing, he's not actually discrediting JMM. Quote was taken out of context by the media and you dummies eat it up.

Had that lucky punch never happened, Marquez probably would've quit on the stool or got knocked out in the first minute of the 7th round.
Now, what I don't agree with is how for years, he begged, pleaded, talked trash, boozed and smoozed a way into several Pacquiao fights for more money than he had ever made before and now that he gets the finish he wanted, he all of the sudden washes his hands of Pacquiao. That's bull*hit and I think everyone here knows it.

Tim knew he got battered in that fight and wanted no part of a rematch, even for a much larger piece of the pie. Marquez seems like a more winnable, high profile fight, so he took it.
Since when has Pacquiao been a fighter who avoids tough fights? He never had to face JM again if he didn't want to. Manny was the money maker, not Marquez. He would have made about the same whomever he fought that wasn't named Mayweather. He chose to take the fight to set the score straight once and for all, he said it numerous times.

Thanks for making that perfectly clear.
