Marquez and Pacquiao have fought four times. The first three fights were close affairs. Marquez knocked Manny out brutally the last go around. How many times are they supposed to fight? Five? Ten? Until you get an outcome you're happy with? Until not a single person with a heartbeat is willing to pay to watch the fight?

Marquez identified weaknesses in Manny's defense and practiced to take advantage of them, something that you'd expect an elite fighter to try to do. Manny didn't make adjustments and got knocked out cold. End of story, like it or not.

I got no problem with the second paragraph. For the first, I'd expect them to fight if the demand is great, as it is now. Much greater than 3 or 4, both of which did very well. Not saying do it for the fans, but for the money, and the glory of retiring Pac for good. What boxer says no to an easy fight for a career best payday? And to get paid that much to beat up on career nemesis he's been chasing for 8 years? Seems like a dream to most boxers, passing just doesn't compute

So that Hatton punch was lucky huh? Oh how about that punch in the third round? when Pac does it, it's skill. But when it is done to him it is luck? You sound real hurt dude

Pac/JMM 5 will never, ever happen. Tim will make Juan retire and that's the end of his boxing career. Tim and Pac will meet again next year for another WBO championship.

Unfortunately for Juan and his fans, most people remembers the good guy that got knocked out than the one punch KO thrown at the last second, can't wait to watch the TIM/PAC rematch.

Their feet getting tangled far more than likely contributed to the amount of damage the finishing punch caused. Lucky, sure.

Pac should of never even gave Marquez a 4th fight to begin with.. 2 controversial wins over Marquez already, what the hell was the point of a 4th fight.. Oh well.. No all the debates are over and Marquez has a legitmate KO over Pac..

Pac and his handlers are straight dumb..

Manny Pacquiao pulled a Timothy Bradley in his last fight against Juan Manuel Marquez. He was in search of a decisive victory and wanted to make a statement, that he could fight well outside of his element in order to defeat Marquez at his own game but it backfired. Going into that bout, he was fully aware of the risks and pitfalls ahead by fighting such an over reckless and aggressive style against one of the best counter punchers the fight game has ever seen and paid for it.

Not lucky isn't the same as easy. It was a hard fight with a skillful and brutal finish that an excellent counter puncher like Marquez can pull off. Saying "lucky" is a coping mechanism for anyone who can't accept the loss.

Marquez said no to what he perceived as a lowball offer against someone he knocked unconscious. Boxers have turned down career paydays before because they felt they were worth as much as their opponent......
