And most importantly, JMM knows it. And I suspect that's the main reason he doesn't want a fifth fight.

As for believing the **** that comes outta fighters' mouths. All I can say is I've followed this game far too long to take anything any fighter says seriously. For the most part, the only thing I takes seriously from fighters is what happens between the ropes. Most of the rest of the fight game is WWE bull**** mixed with a lotta political corruption. I don't have the energy to mentally invest in that part of the game.
Thrid fight was even? Ok no need for me to reply any further.

If you think either fight convincingly won the third fight. You're right, no need to respond any further. Because your boxing IQ is far too low for me to have a real boxing conversation with.

        • From total boss to total *****. This guy has become such a crybaby, give the man credit where it's due. Can't even lose honorably, trying to take credibility from a man who knocked him out so bad he needed smelling salts to wake up. Last time I checked, Marquez took all the best shots you could hit him with, and never stayed down. Was anybody saying that Sergio Martinez "got a break" when he caught Paul Williams charging in? Marquez has hit him in that fashion many times throughout the trilogy, that one counterpunch landed more perfectly than the rest, end of show.

          • It was lucky in the sense that the probability of such a punch landing the way it did was miniscule.

I've been saying it was a lucky punch since that happened, its the luckiest bull**** I've ever seen in boxing.
You're a moron, Pac got put to sleep, and JMM will do it again, next time they fight.

But anyway, using your logic, if Maidana was to fight Broner, beat him and get robbed, it would have nothing to do with Adrien being the bigger star of the 2 right? Wrong, Adrien aint a superstar but he is a power player in the game, as was Manny after he beat Morales in that circus of a rematch, and then he went on to get the gift in his rematch with Juan. Manny was in fact then and now the bigger star.
I came back to this thread for this? Sorry I'm making people who obviously have a problem with Pacquiao or his fans mad, whom will not admit it, but I'm calling it straight.

Like I said earlier, I'm no Pacquiao cheerleader and happen to like Marquez just fine. I think he's the best Mexican ring tactician of all time. But he tried so hard to set he record straight with Pacquiao and ultimately got 3 extra chances to do it, but now that he got what he wanted, he no longer wants to face Pacquiao, even for the best money of his career. How can anyone else say this is not a duck? Boxing is sport but foremost it's a business. It made great business sense to rematch Manny, but he refused.

Furthermore, if star power had a thing to do with the results of those fights, Bradley would never have beaten Pacquiao when he lost probably 8 out of 12 rounds and landed 100 less punches while being rocked more than once.

More times than not, the come forward aggressive fighters pushing the action get the beter results on cards. That is a fact, not just some opinion. It's been proven 99% of the time. Those wins were the result of his aggressiveness. Not some robbery like you would love to convince yourself of. try another angle because that one just don't cut it.

It wouldn't have changed how the fight looked though. Just because I feel Juan won means i'm a Manny hater lol, I get it. You're the one with the agenda here. Talking about how Juan "shoulda" got knocked out. How he was taking so much of a "beating". How Juan's wife should be "scared". You're a Pacquiao cheerleader.
Name calling is usually a subtle way to admit defeat. I'l take that one.

As for the rest, I never said Juan should have got knocked out. Who else have you been talking to in your head? I was pointing out facts. Jmm said he was retiring but that his wife allowed him to continue but not against Pacquiao. If he wasn't allowed to fight Pacquiao for his highest career payday, what else could that possibly mean? Next, what fight were you watching where Marquez wasn't taking crazy punishment when the overhand right landed just right? Go watch it again. His face was smashed and he was a bloody mess when he was cebrating the KO. Don't try and act like it didnt happen. Manny was landing hard shots and almost doubled Marquez in landed punches when the fight ended abruptly.

And yes, you make it apparent that you have distain for Pacquiao. Do you really not see how that comes through in yourposts?
