I am with the lads who picked the Byron Mitchell fight that was a shoot out.

It was also a bit of a kick in the teeth for the many folks who don't think Joe could punch. He was seriously hurt and swinging for the cheap seats with his back against the ropes. Joe threw his lot completely in and chinned Mitchell for the first knockdown. it was exciting. If Mitchell got there first Joe would have been wrecked.

I am a big Joe fan but he was a protected fighter but at the same time even a guy like Mitchell at that time was probably the most dangerous 168 pounder he could have fought.

Joe could have chopped both hands off and replaced them with paper cups and beat Markus Beyer and Sven Ottke.

Joe Calslappy is a magician. He;s learned how to give an azz kicking without hurting or even touching the other person at all. See his act in 30 of his premature stoppages

Hopkins got his ass whipped by the "whiteboy" (as bernard likes to call him)

Hopkins landed a measly 127 punches while Calzaghe landed almost double that, Roy Jones and Jermain Taylor didn't even come close to Joe's numbers. My card read 116-111 for Zags, same as Harold Ledermans card.

I'm one of the biggest B-hop fans on this website but I gotta call it like I see it, Calzaghe was just too fast, too slick, too white for the old gap tooth.

skip to 1 hour and 26 min. to see the final punches landed.

Watched the Lacy fight a couple dozen times. The RJJ fight is great but it's hard watching Roy getting clowned like that. Hopkins fight is unbearable.

I dont mind if you thought Joe won, but using compubox, literally two guys with clickers, to make your case isn't winning anyone over.

Hopkins may not have been prime, but he was still #4 P4P the lineal heavyweight champion at the time Calzaghe beat him. By the way, no one Froch beat has ever been ranked P4P so what's your point?

Love him or hate him from 2006 to 2008, Joe Calzaghe fought the best opponents available to him in two different divisions and became retired as an undefeated lineal champion at 168 and 175.
