like I said, A guy like Maidana? that's enough.

Keep living in the past, but Maidana has a bright future at WW

Its a slow, lazy prodding jab to set up that overhand right. Hes a one trick pony and only has one win at welterweight against a legit welterweight in Karass who is a fringe contender so I am not sure what makes you think his futures so bright.
Hes slow as hell and jab or not, he won't ever beat anybody with decent movement.

The only way he beats anybody is if a C level guy stands in front of him or tries to fight off the ropes against him.

Don't stand and trade, stay off the ropes its as simple as that in short.
He is seriously limited and has one gear.

      No he didn't.

Khan was robbed of his WBA and IBF straps against PEDerson. The WBA rightfully returned his title but the IBF kept PEDerson as their champion (unbelievably he is still their champion!).

Khan then lost the WBA Title to Garcia in a unification.

      Now eat ****.

I like Maidana, he's exciting and has a big punch, but I just don't think he's an elite WW.

Maidana is a very limited fighter. He was badly exposed against shot to **** Corley and Morales.

I do agree however that under Garcia he has improved somewhat and that he would give most a run for their money but he still isn't world class if you ask me.

The list below is a copy of the top welterweights from BoxRec:

            Mayweather
            JMM
            Bradley
            Alexander
            Pacquiao
            Broner
            Guerrero
            Brook
            Thurman

I favor them all over Maidana. Brook is questionable though because we still don't know how good he really is because of the subpar opposition he has faced.

Alexander isn't elite, true, and he still schooled Maidana. I don't see many differences with Robert Garcia honestly, he's just fighting game sluggers now. I'll catch flak for it, but Kell Brook would beat the shit out of Marcos Maidana.

                Paul Williams.

Thurman is nasty sure. But I believe the reason he beat Chaves is because the guy had serious jitters. He rushed his shots, didn't think a whole lot in there. He was inexperienced despite his potential. Maidana, the veteran, would have no jitters and I think he would take Thurman into deep waters.
Yeah but jitters doesn't have anything to do with skill level, and if his jitters were that bad, he would have been knocked out much sooner. This guy (Chaves) was throwing sharp, pin point counter shots with authority and it was pretty even at the time of the stoppage. If Maidana fights Chaves, I'm not sure he comes out the victor. Maidana was hurt against Lopez and Karass, so theres no doubt in my mind Thurman stops him and brutally for the simple fact that he can also box when he needs to in order to set traps, and hes really a 154 pounder thats coming down in weight (he fought Quintana at 154 if not mistaking). He puts mustard behind every shot and can do it for 12 rounds.

I don't count interim titles as world championships. Only ******s do.
I quit responding to you in the other thread after It dond on me that you're from the UK (yeah It should have been clicked considering your name and all). Me trying to debate with you over Kahn, would be like going into a gay bar and arguing with them all about how gay marriages shouldn't happen. You just won't win or get unbiased opinions.

Khan gave up his regular wba world title when he went to fight zab for the ibf strap too. That was for the "super" world lightweight title at wba. Not the same strap he won to begin with at lw. Maidana got that one briefly for beating Petrov.
