Eh no. The story goes that Tyson won the first day and Lennox won the two next days. Don't know how this is relevant to the debate, but Tyson said that he needed "a couple more fights" to fight Lennox for about 6 years and even have up a belt to avoid him.

It's four years longer than Wlad's undisputed title reign. Because we still don't even know if he's the best of his era.

Frazier was a hype job of sorts, much like Povetkin or Haye to some extent, though the two latter hae more to back up their claim. People are also quick to dismiss the fact that 2/3 of the press picked Ali to win against Holmes even though Holmes had spent the last 6 years beating him up in sparring.
true about ali but judging on the way ali performed he clearly had nothing left. he was so slow and lethargic in there. it was sad

And who did Willard beat? Or will you continue to dance about the bush?

comparing wlad with Dempsey in terms of greatness is so damn hard. fighters were so much smaller and crude back then. neither had great opponents imo

I agree Ali was done of course. But it takes away from Holmes victory. He was also the only man ever to stop Ali.

Also, Foreman didn't want to fight Holmes. From 78-85 Holmes was devastatingly good. He was one of the most accomplished fighters I ever saw and one of the few I would give a good shot at winning against Ali prime for prime.
