When did Hernandez look better in your eyes?

From what I saw, Hernadez was in his peak when his career was cut short.

Thank you. Trying to say Paulie was a better fighter than Genaro, I swear some people will say anything.

I wasn't saying Cotto ducked those guys I listed a few pages back, but there were still better fights out there at those weights than Pinto, Torres, Foreman, etc.

Why does this keep coming up one they come hand in hand?

You can not duck anyone and still have a weak résumé.

Cotto doesn't have a "weak" resume per we but its not too good.

The fact he ducked no one doesn't magically make it amazing.

Past prime was he? Before the Floyd fight he was on a win streak and he had beaten 4 former, current, and future champions. Don't boxrec it. U expose yourself.

This is not a Cotto thread. This is a thread to justified other boxer resume.

Going by the names, you can shoot all of Cotto's victories. Going by the time and the position those guys were rank, you need to qualify as what they are. Aside from Hatton, who he missed in 140 that matter? Aside from PWill, who he didnt fight that matter? While this guy was fighting Margarito, Quintana and Clottey (all top 147 when he fought them) they were other guys on vacation.

He is not ATG, he is going to the HoF based on popularity but that is not discredit to him. Losing to the two best fighters of this generation and two other bigger and stronger fighters, it is prove enough that he was more than a good fighter in his generation. Even if you dont like to admit it.

Whenever I see "It was Hernandez last fight" or "Hernandez was shot" you know you're once again dealing with a new or new-ish fan.

Why do people act like because he didn't duck anyone in particular, you can't still have a weak resume given your hype???

Cotto has 3 wins that are anything above average.

All I did was list a few names who were at 140 and 154 when Cotto was, that he didn't fight, and I got called a boxrec warrior or some s**t. I swear....

You put it perfect.....Cotto didn't duck anyone but it doesn't stop his resume from being weak.

Not to mention Floyd only 21 taking a MAJOR step up, having only been in the pro game for 2 years at that point, maybe 3.
