Didn't the 135 champ step up to fight Floyd in 2009? I believe the other 135 champ wanted to step up to fight Floyd after he beat DLH and Hatton but was turned down.

I can't see Mayweather Golovkin. The guy is really tough and has excellent skills. I would put Golovkin as a 60-40 winner in this fight if it happens.

English is not my first languaje, so excuse me.Floyd himself said that "I'M better than Muhammad Ali, I'm better than Sugar Ray Robinson"...Well...Sugar Ray Robinson fought the MW champion, Leonard fought the Middleweight champion, Durán fought the miiddleweight champion...

And Golovkin (middleweight champion, IMO the best middleweight champion by far, time will tell, but I'm pretty sure, and right now I think this is the prevalent opinion among boxing fans), expresed his desire of go DOWN in weight to fight Mayweather at his division.And Mayweather, who is supossed to be the GOAT, will not accept to defend his title aganst the khazak (I think), never...

Also, he didn't fought Martínez at a proposed catchweight of 150! And that fight was much talked at that time, would had give him a lot of money and especially legacy, maybe part of the supossed legacy Mayweather claims he have, for a start.And, contrary to the case of the Golovkin fight, he would have win that fight, but if it's risky, don't take it.I'm a bussinesman, health comes first, I'm a rich coward.

Ok. But Sergio is the lineal MW champion and is the best MW in the world now, not GGG. Respectfully, this shouldn't be a debate. SO as I said fighting GGG at 154 doesn't qualify.

Floyd is a WW, not a JMW. The reasons floyd and ggg wont fight are political and economic-HBO wont release GGG to fight on showtime, HBO wont air floyd right now, the fight isn't big enough to do a cross network thing like lennox/tyson.

Added to that fighting GGG at 154, when he has never fought there, doesn't exactly add to floyd's resume in the way you are suggesting.

If you are defending your argument by parsing things floyd has said then thats a strectch.

If you think GGG beats floyd thats fine. If your desire to see floyd lose is so great thats fine too. But just don't go about it this way.

Was he turned down or did his promoter walk away due to testing disputes? I know a lot of yall hate Mayweather with every inch of your souls, but why do people ignore A LOT of the truth and only blame him? Its corny. Both sides had a lot to do with that fight not happening.
