If you wanna see Floyd in a fight with huge historical significance, against a guy thas shared the P4P list with him the last several years, and from a size and style standpoint that match's up nicely, Martinez is the fight you want. If you simply wanna see Floyd get beaten and don't care who its against, as the writer pu it GGG is the new" flavor of the month."

He can't make 154, and if he could have over the past few years he would have. He always talked and talked and talked about moving down because he was really a junior middleweight, and he never did it. There's a reason for that.

Martinez is done. He won't be back until next year, and even then may not be healthy. Quite a few think he lost his last fight.

        Mayweather-Martinez isn't that important anymore.

Indeed Martinez is the guy for Floyd. Follows the pattern. Washed up, punch drunk. Another guaranteed W.

I like how people are saying Sergio is ripe for the picking when he still EASILY beats all of these media hyped fighters easily.

            Mayweather
            Glovokin
            Cotto
            Canelo

All are easy work for King Martinez.

I don't agree with alot of this artciel but the main premise is apt. People just keep moving the goalpost for Floyd. If he fought and beat Golovkin then it would be Ward who Floyd is ducking. It's nonsensical.

Anyone else doubt Mayweather really ever fight either of these guys, there are welterweights he said were too big to fight.

I do agree with that, most people won't admit it but their main purpose is to see him lose, by any-means Necessary. It's not about it being fair or sportsmen like, just to see him lose that 0 that May is so proudly of, once he losses that they will never watch another Mayweather fight.

So if it takes a MW or HW to beat a small WW than fine.

Incidentally...should he fight him in the hospital?

We already heard that he's ducking Ward, remember? I sure as hell haven't forgotten what Andre was saying.
