The title of the Article is sickening.

The truth is Sergio is the Lineal title holder but not for long. Triple G will take it from him and sad to say retire Sergio. Sergio still is da Champ but he will NOT be able to stand agin GGG, he will fall as a true champ goes out.

For May Jr to take advantage of Sergio is worst, Sergio needs to heal before he fights. I have the feeling due to Jr's past dealings with getting the edge , if he gets by Canelo that he will try to Jump on Sergio before he is ready, give Sergio something like fight me now or never, then Sergio wanting the fight will take it, HURT.

        dats JR's style

GGG will separate JR from what senses he has, make him squeak like a mouse

Terrible article ..... it has "I'm a Floyd fan" written all over it.

Keeping in line with the subject: I have an idea, Martinez vs Golovkin ..... winner takes on Floyd.

yes that is true, fmj has beaten all of those legitimate champs at the right times and more....
however, talk of a one fight wonder "triple g" who has beaten a domestic fighter like matthew macklin just because hes trained by fms doesnt make this "triple g" great and neither does his winning quicker than martinez.
lets not forget, really...sergio martinez has only one credible opponent and he was a welterweight and that was paul williams.
sergio has beaten i think three of our very own domestic fighters since and thats pretty much it so, dont get toooooo excited.

I see a lot of Pacquiao fanboys (not knowledgeable Pac fans) talking about cherry picking which is very funny considering the Pac-Mosley and Pac-Margarito fights were blatant cherry picks. Or Pac fighting the weakest lightweight champ David Diaz and then leaving the division, or we can go all the way back to when Pac decided to fight Morales coming off a lopsided loss to Raheem. ALL big ppv stars cherry pick.

He swore he'd never fight at welter again because it was a bridge too far. Floyd immediately offered t fight him at welter and hatton, of course, accepted. And marquez came up two weight classes to fight floyd and had--allegedly--not met memo heredia yet.
Shane was coming off the Margarito destruction but he was shot? LOL do you know what the word shot means? Shot is what he looked like against Sergio Mora before Pac decided to fight him.

Floyd didn't offer to fight Hatton immediately after the Collazo fight, Hatton went back down to 140 and called out Floyd after KO'ing Castillo. Get your facts straight.

I'm guessing you think Marquez was also a cherry pick for Pacquiao right? Since Marquez had only fought once at welterweight and looked bad.

Garbage. Marg is no cherrypick for a guy 148 fight night. Hell #1 SWW champ Cotto forced a CW on a much diminished, one eyed version. The Marg that Pac fought KTFOs Juan Diaz, that Casa and Katsidis all in one night, probably within 12 rounds combined.

Mosley was a cherrypick, agreed. But notice that 1 year later a Pac-emasculated version became superstar Canelo's best win to date, at a weight unfavorable to Mosley.

And it's like you weren't around for David Diaz. Let me remind you it came 3 months after JMM 2 at 130, and 6 months before DLH at 147. What was he supposed to do, forget DLH and concentrate on a shot Casa, who was just humiliated by JASC (stopped by David Diaz)?

I love it when the Mayweather ball shining squad tries to make it seem like Floyd fought Mosley fresh of his Margarito win like it was 4 months later conveniently leaving out the fact that it was 1 1/2 years later which is an eternity for a guy almost 40.
