If Floyd kept winning, people would eventually expect him to fight heavyweights. Not long ago some chap on this site was dead serious about making a fight with Mayweather and Andre Ward. Anyway the point I'm getting at is there is an expectation that he must keep fighting bigger and bigger foes. He's signed to fight Canelo, so in preparation for a potential Mayweather win people have moved on to GGG. If he's to fight GGG, it'd be Ward. If it was Ward it'd be Stevenson and so on.

More about seeing him lose, than seeing a fair fight ( a fight where opponents are similar in size).

why can't kessler fight david haye or pascal that's a fair fight, correct?

let's be fair across the board here.

no one would ask kessler to fight a guy 2 or 3 weight class above his own but of course you'd ask floyd to.

This is a thread about Golovkin as a potential future opponent for Floyd.

Monzón almost killed him (photo). It was RTD in round 6.

Why is the weight an issue when the opponent is Golovkin when it wasn't an issue for Gatti and Baldomir (and Canelo)?

Is it because GGG is much more dangerous and you are afraid of Floyd losing his precious zero?

So who do you think would be better opponents for Floyd after Canelo and why?

Haye wouldn't want none. He has already been nearly KTFO by one Danish SMW, so he knows how a Kessler fight would end.

You're again making zero sense. Nobody is *****ing at Canelo for dropping 2lbs, they're *****ing at Floyd for requesting it, for too many reasons to list

Gatti and Baldomir just wanted the $$$ Floyd brought. An average middleweight, Vito Antuofermo, was asked years ago if he would fight Monzón for $ 1 million. He said: "For $ 1 million, I would fight King Kong". But Floyd doesn't need to risk his health for $ 1 million or $ 10 million. I'm not a Floyd fan, by the way.
