    Not at all.

Much like Bernard Hopkins he always stays in fighting trim even when he doesn't have a bout coming up. He never goes too much over 150 and it has been that way for years now.

During the buildup for the Robert Guerrero fight the posters on here even made a big deal about how he was already at 148 just a few weeks into training camp. When that picture of him on the scale was posted.

Some of us were even suggesting that he better pull it back a notch and not overtrain so that he wouldn't come in at 144 or something crazy like that.

And Marquez 143 against Pacquaio not 147.

Floyd didn't look 2 divisions heavier than him at all.Heavier? Yes. He is a bigger man despite not being a big WW. Moronic obsevations like that is why we have people genuinely believing he had 10 lbs on him on fight night despite the fact they both have shown they come to the ring around 150 lbs. There or there about.
Let me reiterate the point of this thread by making up an interview with Floyd as it could happen a few months from now:

Q: Now that you've beaten Canelo, are you going to fight Golovkin next?

Floyd: No. Golovkin is to big even at 154.

Q: Howcome Golovkin is to big when he doesn't rehydrate to more than your previous opponents Baldomir and Gatti (and Canelo)?

Floyd: Yeah you are right. The real reason that I dont want to fight him is XXXXXXXXXXXXXX.

The answer I'm looking for is what these X'es stand for. Feel free to give a take.

why do you keep asking this like its a realistic question? why would any reasonable media member ask about floyd fighting golovkin after Canelo?

Golovkin isn't the MW champ-SErgio is. Matthysse is just as hot right now, hs power, fights on showtime, and is in floyd's weight class.
wouldn't either be a more realistic option?

Please. The guy has 1 fight night figure since 2007, and this is good enough for you
? If you're desperate to believe the narrative. Why refuse fight night weighin habitually, if there's nothing to hide? Who does that? Mostly guys like Chavez Jr. Not that Floyd is like him, but he's highly insecure and has put on ridiculous statements regarding his fight night weight

You forgot to tell me, why was he holding on to the WBA Super 154 belt for 1+ yrs if no intention to defend?

How do you feel about the Lineal title being contested at a CW btw?

It was a fair fight BC Jmm agreed to it. You act like Mayweather is a big welterweight. He's 36 and can still make the weight.

Why cant you just admit JMM got beat by a better fighter?

If you're too small to defend the belt, you vacate. Happens all the time

Besides, he said he was gonna defend it like 2 months ago, but didn't say anything about it being at 152

But he is defending his jmw title now. the reason he didn't defend the wba jmw belt ithe past year is because he was defending his lineal ww title.

He wasn't in negotiation then so ho could he say what theweight would be?
