I think he should be a tough fight for almost any Welter or Jr. Welter until his style breaks him. On paper is just that...paper. All this P4P stuff gets people carried away sometimes. He's a good, tough as nails fighter with heavy hands and a solid jab. That's made havoc for many a great one and Bradley is just pretty good.

He's also slow, especially on his feet. You can still get far with that, but most of the guys that do are really good pressure fighters, throw a lot of punches, often really big at the weight. He was 150 fight night at welter, tiny. doesn't throw a lot of punches, gasses in stretches. Seems to punch hard, no doubt there, good chin, prone to cuts/swelling

I rate Andre Ward highly.

However... how on earth can you justify putting him P4P #1... above Mayweather, above Juan Manuel Marquez, above Pacquiao even.

Andre Ward has not traversed weight classes. He's not fighting at light heavy and dominating. All these multi weight world champions and he's above them, P4P, when fighting at his ideal weight class? Mayweather could be fighting at 140. Pacquiao, JMM at 135. They go up because they cleaned up, and have bigger fish to fry.

Andre Ward's "bigger fish" was pulling a guy down a weight class.

He is an incredible boxer, obviously very skilled and obviously the best current super middleweight in the world. Best P4P? Let's see him get out of his comfort zone first. Hell, he barely even leaves his home town.

I completely agree with this, this site's ranking system is sickening. Any ranking system that doesn't have Floyd #1 is biased and corrupt. Look around the web and you'll see just how lonely whoever made this list truly is, disgusting.......

When you clearly see such a strong consensus for who the top fighter is, all you have to do is come to this site and its warped view of reality to to see the opposite. Imho, "BoxingScene" is the "Fox News" of the boxing world.

Good stuff. Funny thing is, this is a lot like the TR-GBP conflict. Both sides are a$$holes, but one side sports a high minded sig, the other might be a little smarter. Now you might be saying, how can you make the GBP comparison without the key ingredient, the hypocrisy? Oh it's there, I assure you. Hypocrisy comes in many forms, can be over catchweights, drug testing, can be misrepresenting yourself as anything than a clueless, bitter fanboy.

Yeah, Canelo signed the contract and seems to be fine with the arrangement. How do you feel about the lineal title of 154 being contested at 168 on fight night? Does that do anything to you except make you wish that Mayweather would move up to heavyweight so he can get the comeuppance he so richly deserves?
