He's tough as old boot and will give anyone who fights in range of him a war. Fighting on ESPN doesn't make you bad. It just means that's where your promoter could get dates. Andre Berto was on HBO...that didn't make him very good.Comment

no but 5 dates give you plenty of opportunities to check the guy out, so no flukes. so i didn't mean it as a putdown, but he's no unknown quantity. pending more evidence, bradley was the fluke.
He is very tough, but there's a lot of guys that are tough+Comment

Nah, I thought he'd give Bradley hell. I think highly of Ruslan. One of my fave active guys.Comment

I guess you pegged the styles matchup, cause Prov didn't even look that good winning on fnf most of the time. I thought he may have beat Herrera, but no robbery. But that's not the only time he failed to impress (other than durability/effort)
I like some of the tough brawlers too, nothing against Ruslan. But IMO fringe top 10 material, and not a challenge on paper for a p4per.Comment

I think he should be a tough fight for almost any Welter or Jr. Welter until his style breaks him. On paper is just that...paper. All this P4P stuff gets people carried away sometimes. He's a good, tough as nails fighter with heavy hands and a solid jab. That's made havoc for many a great one and Bradley is just pretty good.I guess you pegged the styles matchup, cause Prov didn't even look that good winning on fnf most of the time.
