Probably because he hadn't amassed anywhere near the p4p points as Pac, got beat easily by him in the rankers' eyes, and then had his career shortened by a no name coming up in weight. It might be enough to stay in, but there's a lot of legit p4p challengers on the upswing: Mares, Froch, Rigo, plus whoever is fighting Floyd next (if we're taling Ring rankings)Comment

It was rhetorical.
Of course you don't know because you don't care to know about anything that doesn't link to Pacquiao.
Tell me about all of the other P4P'ers who got put face first on the mat by a fighter moving up in weight and somehow stayed on the P4P list.Comment

The only thing I don't understand is why Pacquiao is still there.
About Chocolatito Gonzalez I agree with his inclusion to the list, the guy's been very dominant in his division, beating solid guys like Estrada, Hirales, Salado, etc. I know many people don't know too much about him because he fights in the lower weight classes but he's an amazing fighter.Comment

amazing fighter, true, but there are ppl with better resumes who deserve a spot over himThe only thing I don't understand is why Pacquiao is still there.

Cause Cliff had him beating Bradley and Marquez 3, which are both very good results. 2 p4p rated wins back to back, not commonThe only thing I don't understand is why Pacquiao is still there.

1. Floyd-Best skills of anyone at any weight
2. Ward-Has cleaned out his division and never had a tough fight
3.Rigo- Alot like mayweather without maybe the adaptability and resume
4. Tim Bradley- All he does is win, Robbed manny but will beat down JMM
5. JMM- Knocked out Manny, One of the best technicians but old and will soon be off list
6. Manny- Coming off a knockout loss, but still a beast, beat bradley
7. Roman Gonzalez- Little dude but a beast
8. Froch- Alot of great wins, flawed but a winner
9. Mares- Tough kid, undefeated thru 3 weight classes, can box and brawl
10. Lucas Mathyse- Best guy at 140, Wild but a destroyer....
Honestly after top 6, Its wildly debateableComment

FTR, I had Froch top ten when they fought in 2011; roughly same spot as now.The last time Marquez had an impressive win was in December when he beat the #2 P4P fighter in the world by brutal 6 round KO.
The last time Ward had an impressive win was in 2011 when he beat a guy who wasn't ranked in the Top 10 P4P albeit is P4P quality fighter.
I think it's very easy to rank Marquez ahead of Ward. Very easy.
The clear #1 and #2 P4P fighters IMO at this moment in time are Mayweather and Marquez.Comment
